  1. I honestly dont know how you cant see that its square and "after thought" looking. Yours pics show exactly what I mean perfectly. But I know a lot of people like it, and I know a lot of people dont, but the first thing I've done with all of my Z's is to remove the stock spoiler. I prefer the 94-table top spoiler, although would'nt choose it myself. I guess this thread is just going to turn into a "I love/hate the stock spoiler" thread now.
  2. Its not the brake light bulbs im talking about, its the entire unit. Would take a lot of work to turn it into a modern thin style led strip, and even if I wanted to do that sort of extensive work to the spoiler I still disklike the rest of it.
  3. They do sell the diffuser seperatly, they have released pics and details and It will be avilable on Z1 soon. I was going to create a seperate thread for it, but here you go ;) They also sell their bumper with and without diffuser, and have sold quite a few of the non-diffuser style. Its not just for the diffuser. Im sorry you cant see the improvements, for me the changes make what is an ugly square after thought to a design that compliments and flows with the rest of the car.
  4. its like their rear bumper design - it follows the same design as original, but improves on it. It a lot curvier, and sticks out further, plus led brake light (stock brake light is very dated)
  5. Never been a fan of the 89-98 Z spoiler, I believe its a dated design. However TwinZ have come out with their own interpretation of the spoiler, and I would probably consider it as an option for my slicktop. Take a look. As per their rear diffuser bumper, It will be available through Z1 Motorsports. I admit the changes are subtle, but I believe they have done a good job of modernising the overall design. 6. 2min40 secs ? Very nice, good choice.
  7. Looks like Marks done a tidy job on the Engine. Looking forward to the exterior pics too, and cant wait to see it on track some time. As I've said many times, one of the most impressive Z32's in the club for sure.
  8. I think the FTO is one the best looking Jap sports cars in standard trim. Like a baby aston martin from the front. Yeh its fwd and only 2litre(albeit 200hp) , but take it for what it is - A nice little junior jap entry sports car, ideal for young owners and popular with girls.
  9. Found a wiring diagram if you want to fit one
  10. My brother in-law (who is 22) sold his Celica 2.0GT and got a Mitsubishi FTO GPX.....the insurance cost was near idential. He however could'nt get a 200sx as it was more than twice the price to insure. Which is the opposite to the quotes you got. There has to be some sort of random number generator with quotes these days.
  11. V8 ! Given have the chance I'd rip the VG out of the Z and put in a V8 in it(although not a Yank V8 for the Z......but a yank V8 is ideal for for the gt40)
  12. I'll be placing an order soon, but might not be for another couple of weeks. Drop em a email Gaz, see if they can offer a cheaper shipping service.
  13. Nice one, congratulations to her
  14. ok, as of Friday 8th july 5pm 72% Manual 28% Auto
  15. lol my search was a bit vague perhaps, so I got all sorts, but i searched for "black vinyl", but it ended up being the 4th one down Im going to get some of the Matt stuff, its more like what new oem is.
  16. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-GLOSS-VINYL-SHEET-1000MM-X-610MM-SELF-ADHESIVE-/160527278748?pt=UK_Crafts_StickersScraps_Decoupage_SM&hash=item25602be29c ?
  17. Yes. Lack of oil will generate extra friction and heat, creating additional drag and cause irrversible wear and damage to gear surfaces and bearings.
  18. Yep, for lifespan its a good idea.
  19. Take one 2.0 Mitsubishi EVO.......a big **** off re-engineered turbo and 9litre injectors, some more precision engineering.......and the plan is 2000 rear wheel horspower !! http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1575817
  20. lol, more manual conversions than auto's so far..

  22. been a long time since this was asked...so...
