  1. No Datascan cable has a built in PCB board. Instructions for making one can be found here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=607667&postcount=12
  2. Stock Twin Turbo Manual is around 5.5 secs 0-60 and 14secs 0-100. They are the same for all years. Exhaust, filter, boost raised to 1 bar offer under 5secs, and under 12secs 1st two and 5th one in that list are the Non turbo
  3. for your UK car - H3 dipped beams
  4. Both Conzult and Datascan perform the same main functions. They will read Error codes and display the output of all the sensors read by the ECU with datalogging abilities. You can also perform advanced tests such as adjusting timinging and idle, switching off Cylinders..etc Conzult (£265) - is a better Workshop/Garage tool, as it offers additional features that may be used by a specialist, such as Hicas and Aircon Diagnostics. Datascan (£75) - is a better end user tool. Its better as a driving aid, allowing you to view all the sensors in easy to see Anaglog gauge format while driving.. It also has functionality for measuring vehicle Performance(0-60mph...etc)
  5. Where did you get it done ? If it was online, then the websites have clauses saying they are for off-road use only..and most of them are in Ireland where they can loophole the law. If it was an actual shop, then they have to create a Road legal plate, and document the purchase with DVLA.
  6. There will only be a few that actually work and have been wind tunnelled, the rest probbaly cause just as much lift as downforce. Stock (including 99spec ! ;)) and Strosek being the two I know of that are actually wind tunnel tested.
  7. 245/35 front, 265/30 rear to keep same rolling radius as stock - Amazing grip and comfortable ride (no different to my 17's or any zeds with 18's I've driven) My 19's are heavier than the stock 16" but did'nt feel like much in it between them and my old 17's. I was worried before I got them...but impressed very happy with them :)
  8. The Trouble is that 15kmiles in a zed could be anything from 3 years upwards, and its not something you can really check. At least its just a £100 part that does'nt require engine out.
  9. 7k euros = £4700. Still silly money to pay for insurance though. Money down the drain.
  10. ECU itself is standard, but you need to see if its socketed as Sb007 says.
  11. maybe retrim it in leather/vinyl like many do with the rest of there interior panels.
  12. Nothing missing, Im afraid thats how they look inside. Fibreglass bottom, with a piece of perspec glued on for the window.
  13. It been around longer than "the apprentice" has. Very watchable program. The Panel are multi million/billionaire investors looking to invest there own money in the business ideas of the interviewee's for a percentage share of the business.
  14. Sounds like PTU failure symtoms. or could be MAF (any problems revving past 2500-3000rpm ?)
  15. For software compatablity reasons a Windows based machine will always have its advantages and When its final launch is made in the next couple of weeks I will be an official reseller of Centrafuse Carputer software. Standalone VGA Touchscreens start from £139.99. Motorised Indash Touchscreens abailable from £199.99.
  16. Most zed's run on 18". I have 19" and they are suprisingly comfortable. I was worried about ride quality, but I did'nt need to be.....No harshness at all. I went from 17" to 19" on my TT and noticed no difference ! , and have since put them on my NA which went from stock 16" to 19" and its barely noticable at all. Handling is better compared to both the stock 16" and previous 17", and that will be down to its 245 wide fronts and 265 wide rears.
  17. BUT.....in 1 year and 6 days the insurance will be more than €7106 ....its always going up! :(
  18. Dont heat and seperate.....You just knock the inside out with a screwdriver through the hole, takes about 2 minutes !!
  19. A combination of advertising on here with pics (you have to be subscribed) and Autotrader. IMO
  20. Not normally a carbon bonnet fan...but that REALLY suits your car!
  21. Pretty much the same shocks, although the KYB are easier to adjust on the rear as the adjustment is on the side, rather than on the top. Both are reputable makes (Stock shocks were actually made by KYB and Tokico)
  22. This method : http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html
