I learn something new every day! Whilst looking through eBay Z32 items (like you do) I came across some chromium bulbs for the side repeaters. They wanted £2.99 for a pair plus £1.89 postage.
I had never heard of them before and thought they were a very good idea as in daylight the normal orange bulbs do show through the clear glass when not lit and partly spoil the effect of having the clear glass. Being what I am, a tight sod, I decided to have a look around town today to see if I could avoid paying the postage.
My first port of call was Halfords!! That was a mistake, as usual. None on show and I soon got fed up of waiting to be served after being given the brush off by the fifth 'assistant' who was sauntering by. I then made my way to our local Motorists Discount Centre where I found two guys stood behind the counter just dying to serve someone.
They had the side repeater version in stock for £2.50 a pair......Hooray......they also had the front 21W bulbs in stock for £2.95 per pair.......Whooooopee :hyper:
So, if anyone fancies using these chromium bulbs, you know where to get them..............what a super day, I LOVE a bargain.
