not me luckily, but there is a zx smashed up on north hylton road near my house, the road is blocked off and it looks like the fire crews are cutting someone out of the zed, looks like he was doing a fair amount of speed as the skid marks are about 20 foot long (if not more)

 

i know the car and he aint on this site (its a silver na with a mechano spoiler), but if anyone knows him i hope he is ok

no doubt it will be in the sunderland echo tomorrow nite, i knlow the lad who used to own this zed (he owns a tattoo shop in southwick (sunderland) and i think he sold it to a young lad, im not usre who's fault it was, there is a nissan micra invloved aswell, may have pulled out in front of him

young lads and Zeds not a good combination, probably lost the back end, ive nearly crashed with that backend, theres a lot of power in them Zeds lots of young uns cant handle it

update on crash (long story short)

 

two men in a zx had fled from the scene(one 27, one 25), and the passenger of the nissan micra had to be cut free (elderly woman)

 

the two men were later arrested and are helping with enquiries, it doesnt actually say who was at fault, but the running away of the zx occupants suggests that they werent actually innocent

 

will post more if i find out more

Doesn't sound to good hope they were only running off to get help but that seems unlikely.

 

Hope the elderly passenger of the Micra was only trapped and nothing more.
