Welcome, Wow, a geunine 99spec owned from new  Take a look in the Traders section for Specialist 300zx Garages. The Cambelt change is at 60k miles, Imaginatively named "the 60k service". Its quite a large job and will typically cost around £300-£500 from a specialist (and about £1k from Nissan!). Its a labour intensive job and incliudes a few other parts that should be changed at the same time. Any pics of the zed ?
  3. Russ is very friendly and helpfull and his prices are really good. Although he has'nt posted a message here since may, Mac may be able to advise on current situation.
  4. The strosek conversions were going to be a kind of optional extra I believe, sold through Nissan, designed and produced by Strosek. The strosek widearch conversion is very expensive, and included other options like Strosek exhaust and interior. The bodykits have been copied many times since.
  5. You will need to get the aircon regassed, find a garage advertising such services. Depending on usage this tends to be required every 2-3 years. Unfortuntly the zed uses R12 gas, which is no longer (legally) available in the UK. It can be converted to R134a cheaply though. 7. Be carefull...seems very suspicious. Also all his numbers are complete noncense. No way engine rebuild cost £19k on it No way the Wheels cost £18k No way the Exhaust cost £2k and it just cost him £2k to ge through mot ! if somebody lies about the prices like that...have to be concerned about what you can trust ! Plus he is a new ebayer with 0 feedback. I smell a scam.

  9. You should consider the Strosek front bumper if you like the Viper but want something more subtle with built in Indicators and side lights. The Viper is basically a modified version of the Strosek
  10. Eibach. They work very well with the KYB's and have progressive fronts, they lower just about right and not low enough to cause problems.
  11. IMO its rides better than stock on the softer settings
  12. H3c for dipped beam on Jap spec. H1 for Main beam Danny @ DTA can supply all bulbs.
  13. I dont rate any other jap car over the zed, so it would have to be - 1960's Mustang Fastback Lotus Espirit 93 onwards TV Cerbera
  14. Yep, I have my old TT custom exhaust on my NA, and it sounds much better on the NA !
  15. Standard shocks will cost you £100 each for fronts, and £50 each for the rears. Total cost : £300 KYB AGX adjustables are about the same price.
  16. my one, but its mine and your not having it :p
  17. I'd go for the Portefields or Hawk rather than the EBC.
  18. Sell the Mr2, keep the zed. There is no comparison!. And replace that tired old suspension with new or uprated units and enjoy the handling.
