  1. Similar here, in fact I found this : March 2002 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=17418 5 yrs ago and 2.5 years before my official join date !
  2. Yep, I've met a lot who have never used or heard of this site.....which is understandable if perhaps there not on the Internet....however many will go on to tell you how they bought this from ebay, that from some .com shop..etc ...then again, I have also met quite a few who do know the site, but deliberatly dont come on here because of previous bad experiences :(
  3. idler pulleys They are about £48 each + vat from MJP
  4. Is that you ?...I like that, impressed. :)

We cant go on a rolling road, thats not fair...I dont have a car that makes more than about 20bhp at the moment LOL
  7. Majority of TT zeds are running around with the setup you have descibed. However it should'nt cost you anymore than £150 for a Specialist to supply and fit ECU Chip and Boost jets (or about £75-£100 if you fit yourself)
  8. You already have. As standard the car comes with Recircs (think of them as Silent Dump valves), and yours has the recircs removed and blanked off (under the nose panel either side of Air filter) , and Dump valves fitted in your Inlet pipes. You could just fit the stock rubber pipes back on and fit the Dump valves where the recircs would of originally been. Cost = £0 , time = 1hr :)
  9. Cheapest/easiest solution would be to Fit stock Rubber pipes on there, and relocate dump valves to the Recirc location.
  10. They are almost certainly chinese copies. Quite a few people fit the chinese copies to the 200sx's..some are lucky, some are not.
  11. Welcome to the club.....Nice choice of Z32

  13. Yep, thats about what mine look like on a flat surface, and thats with 40+mm springs. Looks like they have sagged a fair bit for stock, expecially the back, and if they are the originals fitted when new then they are definatly fooked. The Zed is harsh on its suspension and any that have done 50k+ will be pretty tired.
  14. Wont be any faster than letting the box do it itself, potentially slower.
  15. The Zed uses H3/H3c Dipped beam and H1 main beam. H1, H4, H7..etc do not apply to the 300zx (Danny sells kits for all makes & models).
  16. Better !! The standard EVO and skyline setup are almost identical (324mm , 4-pot Brembo) but the setup you have described is an Aftermarket Big Brake upgraqde for Evo's, so will be quite abit better than the GTR upgrade. You will need to get Mounting brackets custom fabricated.
  17. The ones with black centres, although I would go with a slighty lighter shade, like a Anthracite grey (see pics of James300/Uno/rappidrabbit for example).
  18. Engine bay looks lovely. Like Brand new.
  19. Its the Gauge that is poor, although 15yr+ old senders are worth changing, and sender connectors suffer from corrosion
  20. another one registered incorrectly, its pre 1992 Its also incorrect to state you dont need child seats becuase of the rear bucket shape, and even if 95 was it true year thats only half way through production so its knowhere near the last series and whats all the un-muggable stuff about LOL
  21. 19" alloys and lowered on H&R Springs..althought car is actually sitting on a slope in these pics and the rear arch gap is pretty much the same as the front in real life.
  22. As your fed up with the Zed becuase of the issues yours has had then I would say : The Bmw and the TVR will cost a LOT more than your zed to run and maintain. The S14a is cheap as chips to own, although not really in same league as your other options. NSX the most expensive to buy, and the rarest. No real reliablity issues, although part prices expensive.
  23. what went wrong with her last night nick ?
  24. Its £800 for the set of 4, and are being sold as collectors memorbelia, not for use.
  25. Yes, to the masses the Targa is more desirable, but for those after a slicktop (and yes its does have Handing & performance advantages, especially when you start uprating suspension) it will fetch more money than the Targa.
