MPG stock vs "chiped"
On NA vehicles its often possible to improve performance and mpg at the same time. Running leaner and more efficient. However on Turbocharged cars there is the extra fuelling required for higher boost that will make mpg suffer. The opposite. JWT is about the mildest out there. It urges on the farside of Safe, runs richer than most other maps with milder timing. You may find that a more aggresive chip will not only give you better performance, but better fuel economy too as it wont run as rich.

Single Plenum
Its more to do with the stock plenum becoming a restriction at very high power levels. I doubt you would see any gains with a current output below 600/700hp Although changing to an Individual throttle bodys and custom intake could prove to have its advantages even in a mildly tuned state.

looking for something
Nice choice. I would also look at the Bmw 328i , Audi A4 (1.8T or 2.8 V6 quattro), Alfa Romeo 156 , Lexus IS200 , Impreza Turbo

Momo are popular and there are a lot of choices on ebay. You will need the Boss too. You can remount the Cruise control buttons somewhere else (another part of dash or the back of steering wheel), although there are some rare wheels and/or bosses with cruise control buttons on them. 320mm feels fantastic (go-kart like) but partly obscures top of Dials.....330mm would be better.- Cat Sensors
John, All they do is connect to the cat overheat light on the dash. A lot of zed's (especially all those that are decatted) are running around with these disconnected. If you cant get them off I would'nt worry, removing/disconecting is fine, they have no connection to the ECU.- Single Plenum
Not in the Uk, no, None available "off the shelf" so to speak anywhere, although the likes of JUN have the designs to manufacture. Might be worth having a chat with John Dixon if your Seriously interested, as he has designed and had manufactured a new Intake plenum, albeit for his Vh45de V8 transplant into the Z32 using individual throttle bodies....but he has the knowledge and the contacts to make it happen.- AM2 sighting

Nice E34. I had a 535i sport :- Useful Info - Re Brembo upgrade brakes
Evo too. Only prob with getting then from the 607 is that you have you tell people you have a Peugeot Brake upgrade LOL- Concept bumper - my first free evening in a month or so thought i'd be creative!
No, sorry we would have to ban you if you sold the zed ! There!, now you cant sell it :p p.s Im Liking the bumper !!- new suspension set up
A fantastic setup, highly reccomended ! Its hard getting across to owners sometimes the differences between an old worn stock setup and a new uprated setup. It transforms the car.....its all too common for me to get in a standard zed, still on its tired old original 15yr+ old suspension and it feels like a big bloater !!...in fact if half the zeds I have been in were the 1st zed I had ever driven it would of put me of them for life !! The Z32 is harsh on its suspension components.....Before thinking about upgrading power you should deal with the tired suspension and brakes first.- tyre sizes for my 18s
Yep, 285 fine on a 9.5" wheel. You can fit 265 which are cheaper, although they dont protect the rims from kerbs like the 285 does. p.s I highly rate the Falkens too (falken 452).- Very Sad Day
:( Very saddened to hear, our condolences to you and your family. David & Abi - Steering wheel advice
