  1. hmmm...as above, none excite me, but went for the 330ci.
  2. StellaZ and Jay's are both Strosek copies from Zcentre and this are jays skirts - http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_36&products_id=89 When fitting widearch kit you need to fit a widearch rear bumper/skirt as well, otherwise the bumper looks stretched and it looks really bad,
  3. Zcentre do copies of the Strosek Widearch kit, but at much cheaper prices. Nearly all of Strosek kits in the UK are Zcentre copies. http://www.zcentre.co.uk
  4. These were UK prices. Na's are Import only and both the TT and NA were a lot cheaper in Japan than they were here. They were also a lot cheaper in the U.S The prices in Yen are in the the Brian Long 300zx enthusiast books, but Im not at home, Im sure others here will have the books though.
  5. Datascan is the Software and costs something like £25 for the license. The hardware is seperate and the version you posted should work, although I dont now it personally. You can get Seral>USB adaptors, although they can be troublesome in my experience. The Blazt cable http://www.blazt.biz is the most popular option, and is around £50 available in USB or Serial, they also sell the Datascan license, and do a package deal for Hardware and Software. I've not checked prices lately, but thats about roughtly what they used to be.
  6. Not sure about that. That little list, combined with Boot build/Sub-boxes and enough dynamat stuff to stop every panel rattling is likely to weigh in at around 150kg +....and it wont even sound anywhere near as good as a simpler setup. One pair of 6x9's creating all your high and mid-range tones, and 3 big subs for Bass, including a 15" just doesn't make sense, sorry,
  7. Wow...that is so....wow !! Im not really a ford fan, nothing newer than 1980, but I have a soft spot for the Mk1/Mk2 Escort and other classic fords and that just looks incredible.
  8. Yeh. JBL's stuff is pretty good for the price, although personally I think you should reconsider your plans. Firstly what are your aims....your never going to win any sound-off competitions with the Zed, the interior volume is too small and the gear your looking at is'nt high enough quality. If your looking for good sound then 4x 12" subs and some 6x9's is not the way to go. Stick to 1x 12" or a pair of 10" Subs in the rear and some quality Components in the front. You will get all the Bass you will need with high quality mid and high range sound. 1x amp to power the subs and the headunit can power the components, or you can get a small amp to power them separately. It will sound a lot better than the setup your planning and it wont weigh a ton and fill up the entire car. The 300zx is a high performance sports cars, loading it up with a van load of ICE defeats the whole point of the car, why would you want to make it slower and handle like a trolley. Nothing wrong with a good ICE install, but stick to a tidy boot built using quality components. Just IMO ofcourse.
  9. S4 gets my vote. Both are bland looking medium size saloon style turbo 4wd cars. But the S4 is better looking, better built and has by far the better interior. GTR would be more entertaining, but if your after something newer that is quick and wont take over your life like the Z does then the S4 is it.
  10. Definatly an option on Imports. Not sure about UK cars though.
  11. I've had that before...except not kids, blokes! lol
  12. Definatly sounds fuel related. I take it you can hear the pump prime when you turn the ignition on ? Mark the cas with something like a marker pen or tipex before you remove it, so you know eactly where to put the new one back on....you can test if before you get the new one by unbolting it and pulling it out then with it still plugged in spin the end of the cas to see if you can hear the injectors clicking. A failing CAS could also explain your other problem.
  13. With Family, down in Cornwall
  14. They are photoshopped on the car btw ;) I've handled items like these for other cars and they are very cheap quality. The plastics are very thin that they weigh so little they would literally get blown away in a mild breeze if left on the floor.
  15. Bodykit is standard. Its just got a small lip spoiler on the front and a black bonnet and those cheap ebay wheels that a lot of zed owners fit.
  16. If its the looks you like Athene,. then thats just a relatively standard looking GTST. You could pick one up like that for half the price. I cant see the attraction personally though, some good professional picures there help it, but its no looker.
  17. Nooo, There were not even many options to choose for UK models, most stuff was standard. They were a lot of money considering it was 18 years ago. The most Expensive Japanese car ever when it was launched,
  18. They look very cheap and made of poor quality plastic.
  19. Envy are advertising the Ab Flug Beet kit http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6749&CFID=1924510&CFTOKEN=28061723 £3.5k !!
  20. The only AB Flug kits that I have seen in the UK are becuase they were imported with them fitted
  21. Zogg's is a Zcentre bumper
  22. Pros - A lot cheaper than £2000 to convert (typically £1200-£1500). - You will be getting rid of the Z's main reliablity weakness - Car will be worth £500-£1000 more with Manual gearbox - You wont have to put up with people saying "Nice car...oh, its an Auto" - The Car will be noticeably quicker and more responsive Cons...ermm.......
