  1. NA rad wont fit in with the Intercooler pipework, so you'll need to fit TT one. If you were to fit a FMIC kit for example then you would'nt need to do anything with IC pipe brackets. That would just leave the Radiator brackets. If you can weld or know somebody that doe then its only 5 mins work to sort them out.
  2. The Looms are different. You are basically missing the Boost solenoid wiring on the NA loom. So there is no feed to the boost solenoids which would result in permanent 7psi boost. You dont have to replace the loom though, if you just fit a Electronic boost controller then problem solved. I also seemed to have missed out above the part about the Radiators brackets. NA lower rad bracket supports are in a different place, you would need to cut and reweld them in the correct place to fit TT radiator.
  3. wait....I got the first digit wrong.....mean 365mm !! LOL So my wheel is 320mm, I want 330mm....when I said 250mm I meant 350mm  :headvswal I have fixed my other posts now
  4. I seem to recall measureing it at around 365mm. But I cant find old wheel now, think I binned it. If anyone has one lieing around they can measure to confirm ?
  5. Standard bumper - yes, they are very flexible and can be twisted to get in, have carried one inside my old LWB and my SWB.
  6. What size is it, 350mm ? Stock is around 360-370mm I think. I went for 320mm, feels very go-kart and makes driving a stock wheeled Zed feel like a Bus, but its too small really as it cuts out half the dials. Going to replace for 330mm.
  7. Cant comment on my current zed since its never been on the road lol, but my previous TT and NA were both completely dependable/reliable and cost less in maintenance than any of my much newer cars. All forums, no matter what the car, are exactly the same - all threads about problems. Most zed's will suffer with the same issues at some point in their life, but there is always a reason for unreliability, and failing parts - poor preventative maintenance! All parts have a usefull lifespan.
  8. Vacumn leak, Incorrect timing, dirty throttle valves, unmatched throttle opening.
  9. Happy Birthday Dave
  10. cool..well not cool, but much cooler than what I was thinking. lol Ta :)
  11. there are 2 threads, that was is ok, but the bigger one is not.
  12. Nope, I know they haven't till June.
  13. ...post in this thread anymore !?!? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=121213
  14. Its a very rare option.
  15. Exhaust temp light comes on when the unburnt fuel is being ignited in the Cats. Unburnt fuel is getting into the cats because one or more cylinders are not sparking and igniting the fuel...aka..missfire. Most likely reason is corroded coilpack connectors, failing PTU or brittle wiring loom.
  16. Absolutely, handled a load of knobs in my time...err..anyway, a new stock gearknob feels great, its the weight that really makes the difference. I went for a stock one and had it retrimmed with blue stitching to match the rest of my interior.

  18. well, I've been and cleared the place out :) Not really....there is loads there, several half stripped breakers and ofcourse all the stock and aftermarket bits on shelves, floor, up walls, in storage sheds....etc plus complete cars ready for breaking and one with LOADS of good aftermarket parts on it !
  19. AIV air tank. Can be removed if You've done away with the AIV system
  20. Red one is for Left handed people, black one for Right handed.
  21. A friend had one of those, fettled with (headers, cams...etc) , but it was still slower than my Wifes stock NA Z. If your Z wont wheelspin in the wet then you got serious issues!
  22. Cool, will pop round about 10'ish
