  1. Quite a few owners here have In-car PC's/Carputers, but I believe steve is just after a phone/pda though.
  2. Its only about £20 + shipping for a set of 6 Genuine Nissan 300zx Injector connectors and loom though. The knock sensor is very cheap....but then the connection is all wrong and clearly not for a Z32
  3. The regions were split back in April. Devon & Cornwall - Lisaf Gloucester, Bristol and Somerset - Old_Zed & Murt
  4. All TT's have Servo assistance, NA's do not..... and they don't need it either.
  5. Yes they fit and work fine. In theory the car will spool up quicker, but wont make as much peak power...but the difference is only small.

I think Bristol is about central for our region. Dursley is an hour on the motorway for me, which is fine if we have lots of glous people attending...but it looks like everyone attending is from either bristol or south of bristol.
  7. I believe the new capacity is around 6 litres. Stock dipstick is fine though. You will need to email SZ, they also require an exchange unit.
  8. Pull the windscreen cowls off and check if the linkage is broken.
  9. Sorry to hear, wishing him a full and quick recovery.
  10. I'll try and find out, it was ages ago I was looking into it, but Im pretty sure its less than Stock TT power (Limited by how much boost they could run through it without doing a forged rebuild.) and cost a lot more then it would of cost to convert to TT. I personally wouldn't fit a centrifugal blower, its design means no boost at low rpm and full boost is reached at MAX engine rpm. Ideally a Twin screw setup would be much better, which offers full boost almost instantaneously...but that would need to be mounted on top of the engine (like in the first video posted by pete21st)...and your into bonnet clearance issues and custom plenum designs..etc
  11. The clutch master cylinder is against the bulkhead on drivers side , smaller than the Brake master cylinder.
  12. stock cluch is very light, I bet somebody has stuck in some silly ebay puck clutch.
  13. Its been done a few times, never with great results. I started plans for one a couple of years back but decided it wasn't worth it. an old pic from a few years back of a Supercharged 300zx, with the charger where the aircon pump sits : If you stick it in the aircon pump position then it would have to be a Centrifugal supercharger. Which delivers its output in a similar manner to a turbocharger, but is not as efficient.

I think I can make this weekend, or friday night
  16. Yeh, PCV relocation just stops it surging through the PCV's and smoking out the exhausts., but its a good mod for the track. Its not quite so perfect for road use and its not as effficient at stopping gases contaminating the oil as the stock system, but that just means you need to replace the oil at shorter intervals than otherwise. I cant find my emails from Specialtyz now, but I seem to recall it being around £300. As far as I know you would only need to drop the subframe to fit it, although getting it past gearbox could be tricky I was looking at a 4pint Accumulator system with Electric valve. The other benefit the Accumulator offers is pre-oiling before statup.....You get Full oil pressure before you turn the key. Canton Accusump and Moroso are the 2 big makes.
  17. better top it up asap to get you out of safety mode :D
  18. Dry sump would have to be custom and very expensive. I've only ever heard of 1 installed on a VG by an individual (not a sponsored race car), in the U.S. accusump is an oil accumulator , there are other brands available and combined with a Larger sump Im sure it will meet requirements...I'll be able to tell with full Datalogging.
  19. As far as Im aware the only person to have done something in the UK is Jaffa, with his Specialtyz.com sump (not on website though, you have to contact them directly). My plans include : Relocated PCV Valves specialtyz Sump Oil Accumulator system If your not intending to track the car then its not something to worry about.
  20. about 11 months. I dont think I have ever carried over an old number when I've got a new phone.
  21. Its literally just a small pulley with a bolt through it on a bracket that keeps tension/adjustment on the aircon belt. You may be able to free it up yourself, or should be cheap from MJP or one of the zed breakers.
  22. Welcome Vitor. Looks like a nice example and sounds like you'll be taking very good care of her. CE28N - great choice in wheels !
  23. what ever happened to the 300zx.co.uk Xmas raffle we used to do each year. I know its too short notice now, but I just realised we dont do it anymore.
  24. Planning to get the Wife one soon, she really likes them..like a little Aston martin from the front. It'll have to be the GPX Mivec, so I get to have some fun when I drive it occasionally. There not meant to be comparable to the zed though, Its just a small 1.8/2.0 FWD coupe. Check out the forum if not done so already for buying guides http://www.ftooc.org/
