  1. Just what I was thinking, a nice stainless steel jobbie would'nt be straigthforward to fabricate.
  2. What's the zed you have in mind Allan ?
  3. Just noticed the new bumper mesh too :)
  4. OEM (no skirts) does not look right IMO with aftermarket bumpers.
  5. Engine Bay skinz ;) and they look really good Whats the quality like, fitment..etc ?
  6. Import duty & Vat & admin costs generally work out at around 20-22% of the total cost (including delivery charge)
  7. ah yep, I see that now. oh well, thats me done LOL I like them both, you cant go wrong with either IMO
  8. They look like Stillen Type 3 skirts to me - Similar to Impuls but with sharper lines.
  9. 18psi is about their limit...they will still make more power at 18psi, over..16psi, but any higher and they are out of their efficiency range and will heat the air too much. They have been proven to make more power at 18psi.....but thats people doing dyno runs and then probably never actually using 18psi ever again. I personally would'nt run them at above 16psi for any amount of time, they wont last very long at all otherwise.
  10. There is a Propshaft specialist in bristol.....I cant remember the name...but Jimmer knows them...
  11. ....hang on a minute....off topic...mark was at Wozzer's birthday ??
  12. seen several Racelogic GB's start but never get off he ground, its too much money to get enough people interested at the same time. Your best bet is to try and find a bigger club who are doing a GB, google it and see if anything current comes up.
  13. Same internals at TT box, yes, the only difference in the bellhousing which is thicker on the NA, as Nissan made the TT bellhousing thinner so they could fit in the TT clutch & Flywheel, and thats what you will need to do as well.
  14. Nice one. We love Jimmer we do:D
  15. To recon a TT box your likely to be looking in the region of £900-£1100. The parts are very expensive and many parts can not be purchased seperatly. NA box is fine, same internals, but you would have to shave off the inside of part of the bellhousing and space out the starter motor.
  16. Hard for us to say if the difference you are seeing is because your looking at new paint versus old paint, Red fades noticeably over the years But if thats definatly not the case then it sounds more like they have not mixed the paint correctly. Try another supplier...or take in your Petrol filler cap and get them to match if from that. Personally I would do the latter as even if they mix the paint correctly its not going to match you old paint. AH3 is cherry red pearl (burgandy)
  17. They always offer a low figure initally, they expect you to decline it and then negotiate...if you dont refuse the first offer then they get lucky. Just do as everybody else as suggested - send them photo's of the car, copies of adverts in autotrader, pistonheads..etc Make sure they are checking prices of TT manuals and not NA autos...etc
  18. Sounds like yours has been resprayed at some point in a non standard red.
  19. 5cm is 5cm though....law or not, thats very dangerous, the tyre will hit the arch with every bump and even under hard cornering.
  20. Mercs have had a very bad rep for build quality and reliablity for the past 10-12 years or so. They've spent quite a lot of time near the bottom of the JD power surveys. They are supposed to be trying to improve it.
  21. Southwest Tyres - Popular choise for staggered fitment alloys http://www.swtyres.co.uk (seem to have had a name change now, not checked website myself to see if they still have a good wheel choice.)
  22. It will be the hydraulic lifters sticking. Buy some hydraulic lifter treamtent stuff first, it often solves the problem and only costs £5 instead of £500
  23. Wasn't me My Z's not black, or G-reg and does'nt have 4 Zorsts. I've never been to Keysham and I was at home at 7pm. HTH :)
