seats question
Would'nt be possible with a drivers seat because of all the xtra motors built in....but I cant think of a reason why not with the passenger seats as its only the subframe.

But Donor Kebabs should only be eaten at 3am on a saturday night when your too pi55ed to know any different and you cant find a taxi Does that mean that Donor Kebab flavoured pot noodle should only be eaten when you've just done a 6pack and 2 bottle of wine at home in front of the TV and you get the munchies ?

Well done Lewis Hamilton
Amazed at Hamiltons placement. Its been said all throughout pre-season testing and the Friday practice sessions that the Mclarens are well of pace this year. That alone would of made it unlikely to see a Mclaren in the top 6 for at least the first few races, but then together with his gearbox failure putting him 18th grid position who would of thought he'd come out of it with a 3rd place ! Very pleased to see Button behind the wheel of a car he deserves. Considering Brawn GP never existed until a few weeks ago, and the lack of success under previous ownership by Honda it really is spectacular how they are dominating the field.

Front wings
Eurocarparts will supply pattern parts (if they can supply) which tend to be made from a thinner metal and no garuantee on a perfect fitment. Im sure the best person to speak to will be Mike@MJP

Bulb Questions
For HID's you just need a H3 kit. Legallity is a tricky issue, form what I can n gather technically they may not be legal, but nobody has ever had any issue with them. The law/rules are there on fitting aftermarket HID's becuase when fitting HID's to normal Halogen style headlights the beam pattern is scattered as they need to be fitted to ellipsoid style lights. However the 300zx has ellipsoid spots as standard and does therefore not suffer with the scattering problem, which is why nobody has had any legal issues with them. In regard to colour temps, the higher you go the more blue/purple they become and the less actual visiblity you get ! Ideally you want somewhere in the region of 4600 - 6000k. Any higher is pointless.

How much will this lot improve...
Correct, its all to do with maintaining the correct suspension geometry when lowered. (you can just about get away with the stock arms on eibach springs however as they dont lower the car very much) The suspension upgrades listed with transform the car, most Zed's I've worked on and driven with the original standard suspension feel heavy, wallowy and unresponsive in comparison to one that has been properly fettled with. The stock components are way past their usefull lifespan.

found out something interesting today (take a guess)
Im already here and I asked the question ;) lol The turbo exhaust compressor is slightly smaller on an Auto engine and the other difference is the cam profiles - neither of these are something you would visually notice however when changing a gearbox. Turbos differences don't indicate that the engine itself was from a Manual car originally however. For future reference : Auto Camshafts - 240 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Manual Camshafts - 248 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Auto Turbos - A/R = 0.54 Manual Turbos - A/R = 0.63 I was wondering if perhaps you noticed something to do with the spigot bushing, damage marks where it had previously been inserted or something like that ?

How did you discover it was a manual engine ?

p c v advice
Absolutely no need to remove plenum. You can see the valves either side of the plenum. One side screws into the plenum the other goes to a rubber pipe. The rubber pipes get very brittle over time and will mostly likely split when you try to remove them. They also get coated with oil residue which will cause the car to smoke for quite a while after replacing the valves if you dont replace the pipes also.

Grey Z on the Isle of Wight

Australian grand prix
Cant wait for this. :hyper: Looks like the results may be very different from last year. According to recent testing and Todays Practice Mclaren are really struggling, whereas Williams and the new Brawn GP are doing really well.

Now what have i got here........?? Ecu experts please.
More than likely removed before exported (or removed by dealer once imported). I've found a lot of JDM's to have Mines ECU's fitted despite running standard boost.

Something for the weekend..

They are only about £10 for a pair brand new.

Honest opinion
Yep, everything in the picture. Entire interior available in Black, Blue, Tan, Red The JDM and Euro Market was only ever available in Black or rare Blue option for Sapphire Blue JDM models. Mine originally came with the Blue Interior option. Everything was blue - Dashboard, Doorpanels, plastics, seats, carpet, roof lining..etc. Not anymore though.
