  1. I believe some brake suppliers do detail the clearance required...I seem to remember reading K-sports recommended hub to wheel clearance required somewhere. You would be limited to around 330mm, which would be perfectly adequate especially if using 2 piece discs with aluminium bells.
  2. Quite a lot of 17" styles will fit bigger brakes behind them. The GTR came with 17" wheels for example with its Brembo brakes, and I know somebody with Brembo F50 calipers (a lot bigger than gtr/350z brakes) and 17" BBS alloys.
  3. Welcome
  4. Test drive one first, but I would. that masa is sexy
  5. Excellent, Thats just the sort of setup I'll be after on mine when its ready. Sounds like they have a lot of track setup experience. your alignment was all over the place originally! Car looks fantatic btw, love the paintjob. Have you posted up pics before? first time I've seen it.
  6. Hey Andy, recognise you from 3zc. A great looking Z32 you have there and some very tasty product ideas.
  7. Sometimes I find it easier to remove the 4 bolts to the clutch booster and undo it that way, then undo the booster seperatly, but thats not always the case and can be quicker just removing it in one.
  8. You'll need to remove the Clocks (and pods and surrounding trim) to get to the bolt that holds pedal box in place at the top. You will find it partially obscured by part of the interior wiring loom. Its a 12mm I believe. Its then held in by the 2 bolts that go through the bulkhead to the clutch master cylinder, you just need to undo the 2 nuts in the engine bay for that. Takes a fair bit of wiggling and puling to get the thing out once undone.
  9. Yep, your older than me according to your profile  I remember it from being a kid in my dads trucks

  15. an In-car PC will do more (depending on spec), far more flexible in terms of add-on functionality, but they are more complicated to use and more prone to issues. They are very dependent on the front-end software in use. As well as building and selling quite a number of In-Car PC's I ran my own for a number of years and was continoully developing it. It had just about every piece of functionality available, but in truth I would'nt do one again! Too much of a headache to set it all up and despite constant improvements its never going to be as straightforward to use a all-in-one system.
  16. I like this idea btw..not as a anti-theft, but as a form of "Valet" mode.
  17. Depends wether you were trying to rev past 2500rpm. Had it a few times with previous zed (induction kit with no splash shield) It should drive fine below 2500rpm..between 2500rpm and 3000rpm it will cough and splutter very rough, and wont go over 3000rpm at all. Which means short changing gears to get up to speed, and a max speed of around 60-65mph (or 55-60mph in an NA)
  18. nah..I did a over a 100 mile motorway journey home once with a failed MAF, no problem.
  19. Yeh thats fine. Engine weighs in at around 250kg
  20. Not a delimter, but a Convertor. (I guess thats what you meant?) ...or a resistor can be changed in the back of the clocks. ECU Chip wont have an affect on the speedo reading.
  21. Should be done in 3rd for autos and 4th for Manuals as thats the 1:1 gear ratio
