  1. looks like its been made out of Rice Crispy Boxes and Glue by a 5yr old :hurl:
  2. Replace your downpipes instead with nice shiney divorced wasteage Stainless stell jobbies sod trying to remove the rusted on tight original o2 sensors LOL
  3. Its pretty cool, was posted on here a few years ago but dont think anybody has done it here. I'd do it if I was'nt replacing my clocks with something even cleverer :)
  4. damn, cant edit, forgot to say thats for 80mph
  5. Manual TT - 3030rpm Manual NA - 3340rpm both at 80 mph
  6. There is only a 200rpm difference between the TT and NA at motorway speeds..hang on, I'll check the the calculations....
  7. Students are only assisting in certain design aspects (like the cockpit), the Noble engineering team are the people developing it, with the current world speed record holder Andy Green piloting it.
  8. Thats just the model ofcourse. I seen this today and met some of the design team. Saw the £4million Rolls Royce Jet engine thats powering (well when I say saw it, it was inside a sealed container). Also seen the workings of the additional thrust rocket burner ....and unbelieveably the 600bhp V12 Engine being used purely as a fuel pump !!!
  9. Yeh, hats definatly one of me options, had a bit of a test fit and it looked ok. Going to take a set with me to the bodyshop and see what they suggest.
  10. Not happy with the finish around the window tbh. Its got sealant in, but would benefit from a rubber strip. Im hoping bodyshop can tidy it up some more
  11. Very old pic of mine no roof trims
  12. Best looking version imho. Nothing against the targa's but I prefer the sleeker roofline visuals of the slicky.
  13. all the pics of mine are of it in pieces or multi-coloured :-S
  14. Take your petrol filler cap into any paint supplier (inc halfords) and get them match it. If your using a bodyshop they will also do the same to get the correct color match
  15. The only place you can get them now in the UK is Zcentre - http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_37&products_id=75
  16. The Evo also needs a LOT higher boost to hit those numbers. In stock form they hit about 21psi peak boost and the boost then creeps down to around 15psi
  17. equalises pressure for both banks, yeah.
  18. with the way computers advance even the cheapest laptop out there now tends to be higher spec than a decent middle of the range laptop from a year ago. According to a quick google search that laptop uses Intel centrino cpu, but the processor and amount of ram are options.
  19. what course you doing at Uni ? , sounds interesting
  20. ^^^ You may well have these issues...but is that guesswork or has somebody who knows what they are talking about examined the car fully to determine these faults ? You would have a very hard time trying to diagnose turbo seals, valve stem seals and worn rings seperatly
  21. wow, is the new evo really that heavy About 100kg heavier than a slicktop TT
  22. 222 is a good price. last few sets sold on here 2nd hand went for 300
  23. Many would consider 300hp+ as enough power to pay big bucks for tyres and your car is worth 2k-3k easy ;) Although I do agree 40 quid for pzeros with 6-8mm is a bargain, nothing wrong with them
