  1. The opening is there to prevent the "parachute" affect that the stock bumper has
  2. I'd take that...its better than all the other cars you've said you wanted previously.
  3. Looking smart. Is that your red Z, and it was originally pearl yellow or is that another one ?
  4. yes mate, he is trust worthy. Sent him a PM, and he said its what ebay put when he listed it and he'd take a look. I have been out in that car, its very quick for an NA and the wheels (which are brand new) really suit it.
  5. I dont have any pics...but it partially obscured by the large wiring loom behind there, you can see it from under the dash looking up as well, but its easier to reach up top.
  6. Nothing to worry about with the diagnostics, your only forcing it to blink the error code light. its from the 99spec, I think Zcentre may sell it, if not then Z1motorsports in the U.S
  7. No website, they advertise on forums although they have'nt been on this forum in a while. if you search for Twinz or peru you will find lots of threads here.
  8. I want, badly. The diffuser part is supposed to be black, thats just the resin mould in the pics, :) They are looking at a CF option too.
  9. Im sure many of your will remember this Photoshopped design from the TwinZ guys in Peru : Well, they have been making progess with an initial draft : No release date yet though.
  10. I like the look, not a fan of how it feels though, too big.
  11. becuase his back wheels are on the wrong way round. ..but then so are mine in my sig.
  12. I dont eat crisps, and it must have been 20 years since I had some Monster Munch, but if I had to pick a flavour I would go with Flaming hot.
  13. Congrats on the new purchase. When Speedo is converted to MPH so is the odometer......so that 94k will have been in KM up to the point it was converted and then MPH. Most of it would therefore be in KM. Import speedo Boost gauges reads -7 to 7 as it is in mmHG, rather than psi. Fuses are located in the drivers footwell, behind fuse cover next to accelerator. Being an import the label wont make much sense, but this helps - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=66739 Its a very good idea to perform a bit of diagnostics on her just to check the vehicle sensors - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html or http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html You would be suprised at the amount of Z's running around in safety mode without the owners realising,
  14. Yeh, but was'nt actually an available model, just a company offering a service. You took your SWB TT to them and paid them $9000 and they did the conversion into a Vert. Not as nice as a Nissan factory convertible. I'd much rather convert a Factory model into a TT instead.
  15. lol, have met a few who are ignorant like that after your correct them  , although many do realise. Got a link to a current thread ? Unlike here the U.S market tends not to have Japan imports really, they are all U.S models.
  16. The TT sump has the turbo oil feed returns the NA sump does not.
  17. No pics and says probably damaged :( If people are after leather sets then I know that SWZ has several sets lieing about and the same probably applies for Zedworld, Andyz, RicerocketUK ..etc
  18. nice big dish. I almost bought those a couple of years back when they first started to appear on ebay, very good value. I like the design, will suit the car well.
  19. Yep, I really like it. Its much better than it sounds too.
  20. I would fit adjustable arms even if I was keeping stock height. When lowering the car though you move the standard geometry out of spec, you can prob get away without any real ill-affects with a mild drop (such as eibach springs) but going any lower and it will have an ill-affect on handling and tyre wear. They have many benefits - rose jointed spherical bearings instead of rubber and you can ensure geometry is correct and have it adjusted to suit your own needs.
  21. THey've always been fitted in the vents either side in the ones I've seen, using generic bolt on indictors.
  22. Rear has a little adjustability, but none on the front.
  23. American market 300zx uses H4 and H1 instead which is why those are listed
