dear lord - go single exit!
They sound Amazing. So much better than the VG Dual sound. Totally transforms the driving experience...you no longer bother with the stereo, you just grim ear to ear from that single exit sound making the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end  its just a pity they look shite

anybody know what this switch does?
Typically an aftermarket switch such as that would be used for Rear fog light(s).

Brake fluid
Dot 4 or 5.1 is ideal. (dont get dot5) Brand isn't to important, but if in doubt stick to the Bigger names - Motul, ATL, AP Racing, Castrol ...etc

engine loom
Very common issue. The old EFI looms have a hard life in the Z's hot engine bay. Most peope buy from Z1 I believe. You can buy the LHD loom, it makes no difference other than some extra cable to hide under the battery tray : http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=645

What Turbos???
JWT530bb ...or...Z1's own version of this turbo but cheaper is the GT535R (http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_16&products_id=3084) Great turbo. As for manifolds the AMS ones are Ideal. (http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_19&products_id=3696)

Just failed MOT, 48% service brake efficiency
if the pedal went soft then you've probably boiled the brake fluid, You should be able to just drain the discoloured fluid f till it runs clear and top up. ..but as above, pull the front calipers off and check the pistons move

low but comfy coilovers?
The MeisterR have just come out with a new coilover range to replace there old version, which has a good reputation anyway. They were doing a group buy on the other Z site, which has finished but has said they are open to doing another. The MeisterR spring rates for the Z are 8kg/mm front and 5kg/mm rear, but one of the spec options a few have taken is to go for a softer 6kg/mm front, 4kg/mm spring rate, which would certainly help with ride quality. Some of the crap drift spec stuff is more like 12/10 or even 14/12, way to harsh.

Well Happy! iPhone 4
Its the Videocalling they are claiming to be revolutionary ...which is something the 3G Network tried and failed to make work...not something Im interested in but Apple are famous for turning around tech thats already out but that never really took off, into the Popular Mainstream.

V-Power Vs BP 102 Vs Tesco 99
There are two versions of the BP Ultimate. The first is the stuff they sell in pretty much all garages, which is the 97/98 ron stuff. ...but the stuff in the test above was the very rare 102ron stuff that only a very small selection of stores carry (near Race tracks) and is very very expensive, something like £2.50 a litre.

V-Power Vs BP 102 Vs Tesco 99
Jus realised thats the BP 102 stuff.....thats the version avilable barely anywhere and costs a fortune. So may as well rule that one out anyway.

V-Power Vs BP 102 Vs Tesco 99
In the past V-power/Optimax has always outperformed the BP Ultimate. First time I've seen the Tesco stuff compared.

Thats a very sorry sight, but those pics made me laugh.

one for the carputer experts
^^ Agreed. Ticks the right boxes. You would have a hard time building one for the same money, and its pre-built in a DIn enclosure with a Touchscreen and a decent enough spec.
