  1. Very nice Dave, fills the rims. The Brake spec wont make a difference but its always a good idea. The Bulkhead flexes, and you can visibly see the Master cylinder move when you press the brake pedal.
  2. I Have PM'd him the link to this thread so he's sure to see it when he next logs on. (Pm facility is only available to subscribed members)
  3. severe boost leak, possibly Intercooler pipe or one of the large intake pipes between turbos, Intercoolers and throtte bodies
  4. Put warning 1 - 1.5 psi above the max boost you want There is no fuel cut Standard boost is 9.5psi Safety boos is about 7psi 14.5psi (1bar) is considered the max limit on stock injectors
  5. OMG !!!! Hey Kev, how are you !????
  6. The best thing you could do to impove looks is to get spacers for those wheels. The offset if all wrong for the Z which is why they are tucked in the arches so much. Carbon wrapping would severly limit potential buyers.
  7. Suprised they are still going. I was about to link you to their website, but I see that has now been shutdown.
  8. Is he Kennel Club registered Al, with the certificate..etc, showing family tree for the past half a dozen or so generations ? This is the sort of thing owners look for in a Pedigree dog. as well as the health of both parents ofcourse. Is so, then he's Ideal and will fetch a good price for his Pups. I know what you mean, but they tend to be cross-breed Pitbull terrier Mongrels (so they can get around the dangerous dogs act). Its quite a big issue currently apparantly.....with people using them as weapons on the streets. They are very different to Allans Pedigree breed though.
  9. The black vert isn't black anymore.....the owner ruined it :
  10. $210 + shipping http://www.300zxclub.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=510_524&products_id=3497
  11. Not heard of them, but then Im at the other end of Somerset to you. Its worth a visit to Jimmer (bristol) if you want somebody experienced with the Z to give it a Full healthcheck. Regular garages will be fine for general servicing and work though.
  12. I did'nt have time to write up anything last night, just post the pic.....but yeh basically thats what has been done to mine abuot 3yrs ago but I have decided tor revert back to stock ! I've never been happy with the look around the windscreen surround. Plus I've now discovered a hairline crack where its been filled.
  13. nope. You want 5x114 Offset depends on width. Ideal offset would be something like below, based on a typical 8.5" front and 9.5" rear : Front +20 Rear +35 If the widths are differnt then the offset will need to be different. An Offset calculator such as this http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp can help you find the matching offset for a different width. Its the outer position that you want to try and keep the same ideally.
  14. No the colour does not have any affect on Mot any more than the colour of your bumper would.
  15. Most sombre podium ever though.

  19. Z4M - 3.2 Litre - 340 bhp - £45k
  20. osty1's suggestions makes sense. Unbolt yours and leave at home, drive to collect new one without tailgate and bolt new tailgate on when you get there. Its just a means of collecting it. Its not permanant, its only 4 bolts. You just swap them back over when you get home if you want to do work on it unfitted. This is providing its not a long way, I would'nt want to do a long journey with no tailgate.
  21. If its not, then it should be. **** driving alongside it on a summers day.
  22. Great news, glad to hear it
