Well Happy! iPhone 4
New and upgrade customers get Unlimited data till October...then it becomes limited. but it changes to between 750mb and 1GB per month limit for most iPhone packages....which sounds like a lot for a phone, expecially considering Im sure most people auto connect to wifi whenever at Home/work ..etc anyway.

Emergency Budget
its not happening till Jan 2011 though, big gaps inbetween for companies to prepare; compared to increments.
-
Emergency Budget
Was expecting it to be tough, they have to do something to try and get us out of this debt. Quite suprised by some of the good stuff though. True, but increments would be a major hassle for companies pricing; catalogues, websites, advertising - all has to be updated to reflect new pricing.

Considering a new car... opinions please
My father-in-law got one new as company car. I remember the Gearbox packed in and he had it replaced under warrantly. Then at 40k miles the cambelt snapped and he had a repalcement engine too. Im not usually one to listen to horror stories about reliabltiy (I have a Z afterall), but discovered the truth when we got ours. I had a 155 V6 before that...which felt better put together and felt more of a drivers car..although quite dated. My Money would go on something german. Bmw 3series, Bmw 5series, Audi A4, Audi A3, Golf Mk4 ..etc

Considering a new car... opinions please
I got my wife a 99 156 2.0 T.Spark and we owned it for about 9 months. They look good, they go and handle well. Steering is very responsive with good feel. Ride is what you would expect from a Sports saloon. ...but everything you heard about them in terms of reliablity is true! They really do have the worst reputation for just about any manufacturer currently in existance. The classifieds are littered with them for sale with dead engines and gearboxes. Ours started to rust badly along the bottom of the doors and the top of the windscreen, very common apparantly. Wipers stopped working, suspension squeeks, constant problems with the Light electrics, a stalling and poor idle problem and then the Variator went which causes loss of power and makes it sound like a diesel. All quite typical issues and we had them all occur in the time we owned it. Plus when I got my Bmw it just made all the good things about the Alfa seem inferior, and it felt very cheap and plasticky in comparison. In the end, I just got fed up of it and weighed it in at the scrapyard.

New Car
Apparantly not according to pics of others on net. Prob would of been wise if you googled it to check first before calling his car fake, its a harsh remark.

You mean the B-pillar trim ? - which is metal, not glass.

miles per gallon
Difference between the NA Z and the Merc will be gearing I expect....same with NA vs TT , the TT does better mpg on a motorway cruise than the NA becuase of the rear drive ratio.

gurgling noise front left wing/ air con?
Its (probably) AIV's, but its not normal....although it is common. Its a built up of water (condensation) in the pipe that sits where it creates a U-bend. You can drain the water or just junk the system.
-
miles per gallon
I recorded with my first TT an overall 32mpg on a 150 mile motorway journey with 80mph set on the Cruise control, but that was 2-3am with no other traffic to deal with and just one long continous motorway. I expect you could probably pull off mid to late 20's if your carefull.

Dumps Valves/ BOVs - Badass or Badness?
btw - Im not speaking up for or against them...just trying to keep this to the actual real life facts - Psshh/Whoosh/Tish/Shoo or Silence.
-
Dumps Valves/ BOVs - Badass or Badness?
Well having fitted and tested plenty of them to Z's, Supra's and other Jap cars, thats simply not the case. I know people have had problems with improperly fitted and adjusted BoV's, but Fitted correctly and adjusted properly there is absolutely no noticeable difference at all.
-
Dumps Valves/ BOVs - Badass or Badness?
No , the affect of a couple of milliseconds of slight richness after gearchange is neglidgeble to the point of irrelevent. It's all about the noise; for or against.
