  1. 45 miles with 15 pounds @ 1.25 per litre = 17mpg ! I'd not consider that decent mpg if your driving like a saint.
  2. Looking at the strut braces - They are definatly more "Show" rather than "Go". Mainly becuase they use hinged bolts, which act as a pivot point. They certainly look a lot sturdier than the majority of ebay and cheaper braces though, but inferior to a proper 1-piece solid Brace.
  3. Flywheel. All Manufacture figures (as well as magazine, books..etc) for all cars are at the flywheel. The TT is around 230-240 rear wheels as standard. A Hub figure however is somewhere inbetween wheels and Flywheel. Most dyno's measure rear wheel HP, but there are a couple out there that measure at the hubs, such as Thors and Abbeys Dynopack Rolling road.
  4. Looks to be in Great condition. Although Im never a fan of those aftermarket lights. Nice Alloys and tasty looking cream and Black leather retrim. Its had the rear spoiler removed and smoothed over, rear wiper removed, perspex TBL fitted, Nose panel badge removed and smoothed over, insert in front bumper colour coded, clear Indicators fitted on bumper and wings, plus 3/4 size number plate. Quite a high chance thats a ex-Club members car.
  5. it was not quicker than Stigs or Barichellos. The times they posted were from the old car, which is quite a bit slower. There's only about half a dozen or so people on this leaderboard , its not really a big suprise he's at the top currently.
  6. Why not, He's really into his Cars and Bikes and has racing experience btw, as a driver in Paul newman's (of 300zx racing fame) Race team. Plus there was a 12yr old ginger wizard at the top of the board before that.
  7. I'll try and remember to bring my lead.
  8. Sure. I'll be in the Daily driver though.

    ^^ Gets my vote too
  10. Got a pic of these Strut braces ?
  11. Looks like it once has a different map for larger injectors, but was remapped by J.D for Stock injectors (370cc). TT auto is perfectly fine in a Manual (but not vice versa). The adjuter is not actually an adjuster but is for putting the ECU into error mode to display any fault codes by flashing a red led.
  12. Reflector is there for Legal reasons - Mot. Wether the reflective nature of these lights will count for the MOT or not I do not know, but I do know its one of the reasons they look so bad. Saddens me to see this cheap looking tat being fitted to Z's :(
  13. its my understanding they are a hybrid T3/T28 turbo (smaller than a T28) with ceramic internals. The T3 flange means they will not fit the 300zx manifolds. The ceramic internals limits boost and they dont really flow more than the stock Z turbos anyway. I think the N1 spec turbos are T25 flanged, but are still only marginally better than stock z turbos.
  14. See Alanz's sig pic or Funkysi's sig pic or rides section in this thread. or .... http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_13&products_id=7
  15. The benefit of the VAG 1.8T is tunability. 150 stock, but you can get it chipped just about anywhere for 200hp.
  16. Sometimes you just get bored of being nice, or biting your tongue. 99spec are the only rear lights that deserve to be fitted to a Z.
  17. yes they look just and cheap and tacky fitted to the Z as they do in that pic ! :x:
  18. No its from Various different cars, here's a wiki link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borg-Warner_T-56_transmission Its one of these engines that very popular choice for power handling capabiities and range of ratio's. Dont bother with the 350z box, its made of chocolate and the ratios are all wrong.
  19. That would be an E34.
  20. While the Mitsu's are good cars in there own right you cant compare a galant/legnum to a M5 of even a 540i.
  21. H3c are very hard to come by. You can fit regular H3 bulbs (sold everywhere), buy you the need to run an additional earth to them.
  22. Does your Full beam come on when you just put your regular dipped beam on ?
  23. no, they are just fake HID "look" bulbs. Something like this : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-KIT-H7-H1-H11-9005-HB4-H3-6000K-8000K-10000K-/300448418090?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f41f092a Specifically you want a H3 6000k Kit. It Plugs into your existing headlight connectors.
