  1. Yeh, we already mentioned the bumper. Its a diff colour, they usually are on lighter coloured Z's , as I already said. You will also note how the front IS also a diff colour. May have been resprayed, may not have been. Rear ended and badly repaired is a bit of a harsh accusation though.
  2. well I aitn got a clue what your talking about. Thought you meant the bit on rear quater in first pic, thats not there in the other pics.
  3. That sir, on the rear quater, is called a Shadow/reflection
  4. hmm...not convinced. The lighter colours on these cars often show up as different colours on the plastic bumpers. Check the other pictures, the front is also not exact. Plus even if it has been resprayed claiming its been rear ended and badly repaired is a harsh accusation.
  5. Volkswagen Karmann Ghia for under £4k , seriously ? Never even bothered checking prices before, thought they would be stupid money. I love em
  6. 15 front Rears are perfect.
  7. I can clearly see fitment issues on the first 4. And the 2nd, 4th and 5th also show the other issue with it..the width of the TBL area is not as wide as the rear lights, if you get that particular version of it. There are various version of the Kaminari spoiler. With or without TBL space, and also diff brake light designs. Different versions have different issues.
  8. That looks tidy. Nice kit, same skirts as me. Starting to wish I had fitted that rear bumper now Wheels suit the car well.
  9. I've been considering the kaminari for my slicktop, but you can see many of the fitment issues in these pics. A Decent bodyshop could sort them, but something to be aware of :
  10. Quite often its the connector or the det sensor loom, rather than the det sensor itself. Its quite common to bypass the Sensor with a 1mohm resistor as a quick fix. Unless the car has overheated badly in the past, they do tend to melt when that happens.
  11. erm...Im not sure sure why Si said they are great quality....they are actually known to have quite poor fitment ! But anything can be made to fit properly in the right hands.
  12. Its not a old car vs modern car thing. Electric fans are typcially fitted to cheaper cars, while Expensive bigger engined cars typically have Viscous. A proper Electric fan setup can be an pretty expensive aftermarket install, still wont be as good as a Viscous setup and offers very miniscule gains. Cheaper to replace than a brand new viscous, but they are readily available 2nd hand.
  13. For the o2 sensors...the ECU runs a closed loop system. This means that at idle the o2 sensors are not being read by the ECU. To test the o2 sensors you need to hold the revs at 2000rpm+ , and both o2 sensors should be continously swinging from lean to rich. ..and you need to do it with the engine fully warmed up.
  14. No,no,no... Code34 = No signal received from the Det sensor. The only cause of a code34 is either Faulty det sensor, or a problem with the wiring/connectors between det sensor and the ECU. It will put the car in Safety mode, but safety mode or Detonation does not cause a code34.
  15. Thats how these are done , and by the same people. Looks like they do lots of different styles
  16. You said you didnt like them when I put the pics up :p These people can press them into your bonnet http://www.coollouvres.com/ , looks much nicer than fibgreglass addon
  17. I think anything from 60-80 is what I always paid in the past to have Z engines and Manual convesion kits delivered, unfortunatly.
  18. I've used this one :http://www.onlinepallet.co.uk/ and this http://www.ukpalletdelivery.co.uk/ But you can find others in google, you'll need to search for pallet services. A quater or Half pallet (depending on the courier) will do it, with tail lift service. Dont forget to drain the oil, they really dont like it when it spills all over their truck :whistling:
  19. Fronts = no (thats not stock in pic) Rear = yes...some adjustment. The bolts use an offset eccentric bolt head, and is a common oem fitment in many vehicles.
  20. Good oil. Its not with oilman (opie oils) is it ? He is on pretty much every forum out there (including ours).
  21. I think the Alloy is missing becuase that particular wheel has been discontinued (and fell of ! , during the Theft/accident)
  22. If I recall correctly It was stolen and recovered damaged when DarksideTT had it, and so he sold it as accident damaged. New owner (matt) was on other site till last year, had it resprayed I guess.
