  1. Yep, something definatly not right there. They should do the opposite - start of dim and get brighter.
  2. Its a breather, it does'nt go to anything.

  4. Here you go, first ever thread in this section : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=13564 Bear in mind though that this is not the first incarnation of the 300zx.co.uk Forum. and the first actual Help thread : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=13582 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=13603 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=13614
  5. forgot to say, I've sat in other Z's with Bucket seats - Recaro Pro, Sparco something and some unbranded Ebay jobbies. I did'nt like the sparco's or the Ebay ones at all. In the sparco's the leg supports were too high, pushing my legs together too much and the ebays were too tight all round with cheap material. The Recaro's were nice.
  6. Fixed back seats in the slicktop - Cobra Imola S. Only fixed back seats are FIA approved for Racing. I find them very comfortable, they are side mounted with seperate bolt locations front and back so you can recline the entire seat to any angle your prefer. You really should try before you buy though, and try as many different makes and models as possible. Its not one-size fits all, you want to find the one that suits you. Also, Cost does seem to have an affect on comfort and support. Some, like mine, come in two sizes, Normal and wide. I have a Normal size in mine and Im a 'snug' fit - 6ft 2", 14stone. Im getting a Wider version for the passenger seat. Some seats also come with adjustable padding, and even padding that can be inflated to suit.
  7. Think we might have part of an umbilical cord. Definatly seen a lock of hair in one of the baby books. I know a Jewish family with a newborn....could ask If they are keeping the foreskin. Any good ?
  8. General Surfing Watching Movies Gaming CAD Software CFD Software Porn not expecting the latest and greatest bit of kit, but a worthy upgrade.
  9. Im looking to upgrade my PC, but want some advise..... Its currently : Intel P4 3.2 ghz (Asrock P4i65g) 2GB DDR 400mhz ram SATA 320GB HDD ATI Radeon HD3650 513mb AGP Graphics card 550W PSU Its the Motherboard and CPU Im looking to upgrade the most, and I'll have to replace the ram to as its currently the older ddr (not DDR2) stuff. Probably upgrade to 3 or 4gb So what would be a decent upgrade for Board and CPU, how much would I have to spend ? I dont have a clue on budget, cheaper is alway better, maybe somebody could reccomend some options in different price brackets ? Is a board and CPU package deal the best option ? Any advice appreciated, Cheers _______
  10. If offsets are correct : the fronts with stick out an extra 13mm than what would be considered flush the rears will stick out an extra 14mm than what would be considered flush * this is based on Funkysi's offsets and widths - which is about the max you can go without arch modifications and stretched tyres
  11. Thats what i was thinking......the advertised offsets dont seem to match up with what I can see in the pics.
  12. See your bits do work , I told you, you were just doing it wrong before ! :p Congratulations to you both !! :D:D:D Sorry to hear about the impending job situation. Plenty of jobs for you over this way ! ;)
  13. Should of kept watching. Like I said, the 1st episode almost put me off. The series just gets better and better.
  14. Its also to do with the system pressure over atmospheric pressure that raises the boiling point. If I remember correctly the stock rad uses a 1.2bar cap?, which will raise the boiling point of water to around 123c (the actual figure changes as atmospheric pressure is not a constant and changes. daily) Antifreeze can then raise the boiing point a further 5-10c above that as well. But still , anything in the 90's scares me and I would be pulling over if I saw 100c and crossing my fingers. VG's dont like getting hot.
  15. very nice, yep guy I got mine from. Took 7 weeks to arrive. Bit concerned about those offsets.....
  16. It also says about it being a 300zx in the original DVD extra stuff
  17. I'd head down to the South west - Cornwall & Devon are the best Holiday destinations. Lots of countryside and sea. Wales is nice too, but Im not familar with the best areas. You could even drive along the entire south coast route, from the east (london) down to Lands end. Definaty go for a road trip rather than train though.
  18. Yeh, but then he has Porsche Brembos which are a lot bigger than the 350z/GTR brembo's.
  19. 9.5" front - et25 10" rear - et35 That will leave you with wheels that extend a little further than "flush", so should fit fine with some mild arch rolling. For comparison, Funkysi's setup is as aggressive as you can go on a lowered car on stock arches without stretched tyres and have no rubbing issues. Yours will extend outwards 6mm further at the front and rear.
  20. just to add - some of the special effects in the 1st episode/pilot was a tad cheesy IMO.......but this is toned down/fixed for the rest of the episodes.
  21. I would not reccomend an additive like slick50 Auto Dexron ATF Fluid Manual 75w-90 Gearbox Oil (GL-4) *If your having Syncro problems, such as Crunches between gears, then people have had success with using Redline MT-90 gearbox oil instead. Stick to standard otherwise.
  22. Zcentre one is just for looks too, it may offer some improvement over stock but : - A hinged strut brace is for show - A one-piece solid brace is for function
  23. Im very interested in this. Whats the deal, are they going to produce a custom oil pan for the VG or do they already have one ? Spotted a Nissan 3.0 V6 pan listed on there site, but there price list refers to it as being for the VQ. Any ideas on cost ?
  24. Absolutely love your car Jaffa. One of the, if not THE, most impressively specced Z32's in the UK. Yet most people have no idea it, You should update your rides with a full spec list and pics.
