Handling Question
Worn Hicas bushs AND/OR Rear shocks Hicas lockout bar does not generally replace the Hicar bushes. Although Driftworks do a version that does include arms that replace the bushes too.

My babies together all clean ready for retirement
They look great. Love the black roof and the wheels on the TT. Im sure they look better now than whey they were chrome. Keep it NA. TT vert sounds great on paper, but not so much in reality.

928
The 928 was one of the cars I was considering before I got the Z. I seem to recall there are some copies of Magazine comparison reviews on the internet between the 928 and 300zx from back when the Z was launched

Has someone just bought a perspex strip off ebay?
Correct. They go that colour over time.

Moving over from the dark side
Nope, there's no Fuel cut.

Moving over from the dark side
Welcome, On the road peformance is about the same between MkiV Supra and the Z32. I know on paper the Supra is supposed to be a few tenths quicker , but having worked and been around many of each for several years I can say there really is'nt anything it it. Typical Published Figures for the TT manual : 0-60 - 5.5 secs 1/4 mile - 14.2 secs top speed - 175'ish (unrestricted) Although Car and Driver magazine achieved a 0-60 time of 5.0secs and 13.8secs 1/4 mile in there tests in a SWB TT Manual. Your basic Initital modifications : Induction Kit Decat Exhaust Chipped ECU Raise boost to 13-14psi Expect to see anything from 350-360 fwhp typically, sometimes more. Knock your 0-60 into the high 4's, and 0-100 to under 12secs (14secs stock). Your then at the limits of the stock Injectors, although stock turbos wont see you much further. There are other bolt-ons you can do to help improve response and power, like any car - Lightweight Crank pulley, Lightweight flywheel, 1 piece prop, Downpipes and Decats. Next step is where gets more expensive - Injectors, Intercoolers, Turbochargers, Forged pistons...etc

tt to n/a
There is not much of a Fuel difference between the NA and TT. A couple of mpg difference on average, The TT actually does better mpg than the NA on a motorway cruise. Its only when your really hammering it that the fuel usage difference becomes more apparant. But as said, engine swap is the only viable option. You dont want a low compression NA engine. Less power and more fuel consumption than a standard NA ! - Its all about efficiency. It would be unresponsive and couldn't fight its way out of a wet paper bag.

nice motor
VG makes more power and a lot more torque than the RB for the same given modifications. The VH45de is the engine they should of gone with(and nearly did), at least as an option alongside the VG.

standard Boost gauges
Cost saving I expect. They only have to manufacturer one set of clocks, instead of 2. Nissan did a LOT of cost saving after 94. Thinner carpets, Less insulation, Most of the good standard equipment became optional extras. They even went back to tweed for some later years. Stock gauge isn't much use anyway.

5th Gear - What ratio?
Stock Manual TT Ratios. Stock Wheels. Theoretical top speeds per rpm in 5th gear : 1000rpm - 26.4 mph 2000rpm - 52.8 mph 3000rpm - 79.2 mph 4000rpm - 105.7 mph 5000rpm - 132.2 mph 6000rpm - 158.4 mph 6800rpm - 179.7 mph (stock rpm limit) 7200rpm - 190.3 mph (typical Raised rpm limit of Chipped ECU)

What REALLY grinds your gears?
I like everyone and everything.

Help on removing brake line connector
Are you using a proper Brake spanner ? (almost a full ring with just a small cutout to get it over the brake pipe) An open ended spanner usually slips.

Out with my mate and then...
As far as I know the only JAE it was at was 2005. I presume pic is taken elsewhere. It was Burnt out in 08. Belonged to now banned member - Karl300zx
-
What affect would this have on the car
1st pic is normal. TPS connections 2nd appears to be Det sensor connetor. Bypassed? - Check for a Resitor at connector, or it may have been done at ECU. 3rd pic is the stock PRVR solenoid. Its job is to prevent vapour lock in the fuel system during High fuel temperature situations and during warm starts. It recieves signals from the ECU to release excess vacumn in the fuel system which inturn increases fuel pressure. Its not important and can be removed. 4th is Boost solenoids. connectors. 5th - If its Tee'd into the EBC then the other end should either go down to the Wastegate pipeing directly below where its at now, or it will go to a nipple on the metal intake pipe next to radiator. Look underneath those pipes for a missing vacumn pipe.

which one ?

Double *****cks with a cherry on top!!!
ouch, good job the smaller jack saved it. Glad your ok. and there was no more serious damage. Its relatively simple to drop sump, you need to undo the engine mounts and Lower the subframe enough to give clearance, no need to pull engine or remove subframe/suspension. You will need to support engine though, this is ideal - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-2-TONNE-ENGINE-GEARBOX-SUPPORT-/190376021469?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment&hash=item2c534b8ddd Depending on where it hit its possible you have dented the oil pickup, but I would not expect any further damage.

Why hasn't this sold???
They step back and go " **** me, thats hideous, what have we done.....quick chuck it on ebay"
-
Anyone know this switch
Thats definatly the parking aid switch (aerial on front bumper). If its on a UK car then it must be the dash panel from an Import.

Out with my mate and then...
ooh...one for the "Rat" look lovers, I bet thats turning them on
-
who Z is this ?
Yeh, standard practice, perfectly normal. Seller wont expect anybody to actually bid on advert, its just a way of advertising that they are breaking the car but ebay insist you have to List "something" for sale in the advert or they shut it down.

What do you reckon to this?
Black and White....meh, ok.....but then to add brown/burgandy doors.....:scared:
