Changing the interior colour
Your interior (velour) is quite desirable and relatively rare. Most owners have tweed and the Velour is a nice upgrade. My favourite interior option is the Grey Suede but thats even rarer. If you ever wanted to reupholster it then you would be better of selling the interior complete and getting hold of a tweed set to reupholster. As for dyeing...I guess in theory it would work, but not seen it done myself. I would worry about getting consistent/even covering. Painting would be a definate no.

Honest Opinion : Manual V Auto
Lower peak power engine output due to Turbo and Cam differences. Then you have additional losses compared to a Manual through the drivetrain as well. Auto's are slower in all areas - 0-60, 0-100, mid range, corner/roundabout exit.....every scenario.

lovely NSX
It was also around £60,000 new.

V.nice. Looks great in White, but then I do have a bit of a thing for white cars lately

Brake pads
Entirely different size and shape. You can however sell your old Front Calipers, pads and discs to SX owners for around £100. These brembo discs yuo have, are they for GTR fitment ? - becuase the GTR calipers require a 324mmx30mm Disc with the correct offset.

Honest Opinion : Manual V Auto
IMHO - they should never have offered the Z32 with an Auto. I cant think of anything good to say about it. 1. I could'nt say for sure, never measured the mpg on an Auto, but they are typically (ie. in most other cars) a couple of mpg worse than a Manual. 2. Autobox is very unreliable, its the achilies heel of the 300zx. Rebuilds costs 1200-1500. 2nd hand boxes usually go for 200-300, but its the same again in labour to swap. Most Z's seem to be on there 2nd or 3rd box by now.

Z32 tt carbon drift build
Very interesting project. Enjoying reading your progress so far and looking forward to the end result. Thats a 4-point cage in the pics (autopower?) , or do you mean you have extra bars to weld on to make it a 6 point ? Do you have any plans for the stock oil system ? Its a weak point for track/drift use, suffering from oil starvation at the pickup under high g-force. Very nice, The Dash2 with DL1 has been my plan for a while now, sexy bit of kit.

what mm spacers do you guys have if you have them!
It entirely depends on how much you need to space your current wheels out by based on there offset and width. If your going to use anything more than 3-4mm then you really want bolt on hubcentric spacers.

Prefer the current wheels, suit the Z more than the Jade R's which Im not really a fan off, they look like generic halfords cheapies to me.

Is this important? a cut off cable.
No need to. Has no affect on the running of the car. They are often cut, typically becuase a mechanic/garage had to remove exhaust but could not undo bolt. They are also removed when people fit decat pipes.

Is this important? a cut off cable.
Cat temp sensors. All the sensor does it light up a symbol on the dash to warn you that the cats are overheating - which is typically due to a missfire issue with unburnt fuel entering the exhaust system.
