  1. You refer to the early series clocks where these two screws are 'lights on' connections. Later series clocks like mine the two screws are in a different place but still centralish.

Well having decided to take the famous pop up tent to JAE this year I was practicing in the garage today at folding it as I don't want to be the centre of ridicule again, yes you've guessed it, I was again wrestling with it but in private this time !! However though and some might call it a blessing, I have only gone and broken it, haha, so the tent is no more....I know it's a sad sad day folks .

Because it's a 3 day event and folk can arrive when they like you don't really get queues as such, I've never had them in the last three years I've attended. 8.30 then instead of 8 ?

Not really going to be a convoy at this rate !!! I'm still on for this, very unlikely I'm going to travel down on my own Friday but it still remains a slim possibility if there are others that I currently do not know about. That time 8am on Sat is plenty early enough, it's 2 hours to go from Lymm - do we need to get to JAE at 10 ish ? 8.45 - 9.00 at Lymm can I put forward ? Which will mean me setting off from Burnley at 8am.
  7. All bought from ebay and mainly from the USA, all can still be bought today if you look, cheap parts many would say but you cannot argue with my figures and I wouldn't do much different if I had to do it all again. For instance http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-640cc-Fuel-injectors-Nissan-Skyline-RB25DET-300zx-VG30DETT-Z32-Side-feed-/190890164962?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c71f0c2e2 And http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XTD-STAGE-3-PADDLE-CLUTCH-PRO-LITE-FLYWHEEL-90-96-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-VG30DETT-/111160269710?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19e1ab1b8e And yes your turbos will need upgrading if you want to push towards 20psi for sure, but you need supporting mods and a good strong engine.
  8. I purchased all those items bit by bit over a 6 month period and plonked them all on the shelf, my GSP600 turbos were £600, stage 3 clutch was £250, 600cc injectors were £250, all these were new, I also had 2nd hand Pace smic's and these were £160.00. Noz will do your bespoke chip/remap for roughly £250. Boost controller I already had, along with the downpipes although I did buy stainless manifolds. I don't have the Z1 decal though which adds another 20 BHP !! The Z1 price is not a bad one but there will be massive shipping and import tax on top with some scratting about you could easy knock off 6, 7, 8 hundred GBP. I have 504 RWHP BTW on stock internals which are more robust than people think and well you can imagine the thrill.
  9. I couldn't possibly be more helpful than this !!!! Here is a photo of mine, so fit this and you can then do what you like, remember though you lose any warning that a bulb is out . And this looks like the same on ebay does it not...cheap as chips . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Module-CF13-Fix-LED-Signal-Light-3-Pin-Electronic-Flasher-Relay-Error-FAST-Flash-/230838266020?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item35bf0868a4
  10. The one I bought well over 2 years ago just went straight in but on looking on ebay the pins don't always look in the same positions. Take out your stock one which is black and near your brake pedal and try and match it with the ebay ones pics then buy just the one .

  12. Oh dear, it does help looking where you're going though. My lad in his little saxo as just had a bump, dented all his front arch, door mirror wacked in and as a consequence smashed passenger glass so you're not alone, hope you get it sorted :thumbup1:.

  14. I think everyone these days should get a fast flash relay, they are only a few pounds from the far east then you can do what you like, I know I have as I have just added another changeover sidelight/indicator one at the front corner !!!! A T10 is only 5w as opposed to 21w so no would be my answer to the brightness issue.

  16. Erm...pics....come on you've had hours :tt2:.
  17. Me and Jeff told him to check here in another thread yesterday - get them looked at man as all your symptoms point to these :thumbup1:.
  18. I had a leak only recently and was throwing water in like crazy for just the smallest of journeys and I too was overheating as a consequence, I had a split hose caused by age at the very front of the engine that joins onto the top water pipe, this hose is only about 5 inch long so check here.
  19. I had seen he was selling this too and thought from him it'll be decent and so it proved. He's not a bad lad and I'm looking forward to seeing him soon :thumbup1:.
  20. Doesn't sound good, the stock clock gauges are not very accurate, oil pressure gauge may not work so well when engine gets warm, as for the temp one you wont really know from that until it's too late I'm afraid, did it go well above the centre mark ? Have you any signs of water loss ?
  21. My ticket should be here any day, travelling down Sat and staying the night for the Sunday :thumbup1:.
  22. Come on the 16th it's much much quieter and parking is not a problem :tongue_smilie:.
  23. I had one failed o2 sensor (replaced it now) and mine still passed, make of that what you like :thumbup1:.
  24. Happy birthday 'Bruce'.
  25. Should your username not be jim@southwales or is it a welsh play on words type thing that is lost on me ? A mod can change it for you if you request !!
