  1. Me liking the look of that....certainly a bit different from when I first saw it :thumbup1:.
  2. What colour is it ? I do have some 300ZX steel panels like on my vid, it would just be a matter of sticking an EL sheet behind them, one each side with one inverter to run both. You have a red panel still don't you ? I'll take caramel slces of course as remittance !
  3. If I am sent your panel, as post 18 says, £50.00 is the price I will light them up for, this of course includes my p&p back. I can do yellow, green, blue or red. Thank you, Andy.
  4. Hang on back  you said in post 1 you already had an illuminated panel and was inquiring about doing something in your quarter windows, which is why I posted what I had done for this area :thumbup1:.
  5. Yes and no, all reverse light panels can be made to illuminate, the panel splits in two, the back part can then be cut open or butchered if you like and lights can be attached to the car body just behind therefore shining through but some work still needs to be done to the front 300ZX area for this said light to work properly/crisply. I also say no because when both parts of the panel are clamped back together there is no room inside for anything other than a coloured EL sheet. These are my bespoke made chambers I did with strip remote RGB lights, meaning you're not stuck to the one single colour, these units are just plonked in the quarter windows and do work in unison with my 300ZX reverse light illumination, number pate lights and so on and so on !! 9. A good write up here . http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-how-requests-questions-tips/60826-how-tune-your-greddy-profec-b-spec-ii.html
  10. Get some silica gel sachets, take the bung off the main beam and pop a couple inside, your misting up problems will clear up so to speak .
  11. Happy birthday Andy :balloon:.
  12. Would look better 300 instead of 3 00, why the little gap I wonder .
  13. Enjoy your day Al :thumbup1:.
  14. Really, I was going off this I read moons ago on Wikipedia, haha. I wonder Rich if you have a Series 3. 1994 Rear spoiler design changed to a taller, pedestal-type. Seat belts redesigned; they were moved from door mounts to true pillar mounts. SuperHICAS system changed to an electrically actuated unit.(previously power steering actuated). New style fuel injectors for the convertible. Passenger's side airbag introduced and made standard. Keyless entry added. Titanium keys discontinued in November 1994. 'Reset' button removed from clock. Off-white 'Pearl' color is dropped. Future 'Pearls' are more of a semi-metallic white. Sales: 5,320 units.[19]
  15. That is normal, 'proper' mounts were 94 onwards. Mine did exactly what you describe with the smoke and what Brian says above, but since Noel mapped it the issues have gone .
  16. They are H3 and 5000k is a very white colour, 4300 and 6000k are all very very similar .
  17. Nope...the pics not working on this thread, anyone else having the same bother :surrender:.
  18. Have you actually swapped the bulbs over and got the same results and/or tested the bulbs on the bench .
  19. Don't pay that just get these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271200076133?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  20. When it doesn't fire, have you tried bumping it and does it go straight away if you do ?
  21. You need Iridium NGK BKR8EIX which are Heat Range 8 :thumbup1:.
  22. The F1 channel is free if you take the HD package option which I think is an extra fiver or so a month .
  23. I was talking about the fuel gauge which is why I quoted .
  24. You need to take the needle off and put it to where you think it should be, this needle is just trial and error as all the others return to zero when you switch off apart from this one :thumbup1:.
  25. Yes I was aware of that as I typed, I just wanted to point out the correct positioning of the needle on the spindle as once we are sure this is correct we can eliminate this as a factor for showing a false reading either more or less than the GPS .
