  1. All posts and threads will be preserved for the lifetime of this club. However threads and members comments need to be kept in the private sections where originally posted.
  2. I understand what you are saying but its not that easy as the full section is locked to the Premium Membership. Moving all the content out to be available to non - premium members would defeat the purpose of it in the first place. I can only suggest that you take note of any content you wish to keep or pass on to others.
  3. I'd just like to give a warm welcome back to all the members who have decided to give our Club a visit again. For whatever reason you previously left us; please don't be a stranger and ensure you post a wee hello to say you are here and what you have been upto..
  4. Nothing much for me last year. Felt like a great buildup then a kick in the bollocks at the end. Hopefully i get everything sorted for this year.
  5. I've manually fixed them all. Not sure why they are not automatically renewing as checked the settings and everything looks good to renew.
  6. There's a lot of great looking zeds not in the list but unfortunately the owners never listed them. ?
  7. I've already set the section to guest so it shows for everyone. We shouldn't see this issue again unless you share a premium section thread.
  8. What was happening was facebook visits our club and generates a small image of what the page looks like. But the page cant be accessed without having a valid account and logging into the site which facebook cant do. So it sees an error message instead warning us to login to the website to view the page.
  9. You only have one thing for it then! Move away from London, as a new house will likely be cheaper than the upkeep of a zed these days. ?
  10. Hi Chris, The website is generating the error but it's indirectly caused by Facebook. When using the Facebook app on any device the app uses its own builtin Web browsers. And when the links are loaded they are in a section of the website that doesn't show without you being logged in. I've recently changed the standard sections so that guests can now see them so hopefully we won't see as many issues.
  11. Time to start building a new garage profile then link it to your main profile so everyone can see it. The new system is much easier to upload pictures on.
  12. Looks great. Wish i could get mine going again, too many issues with the engine again.
  13. Vote for none of the above as i'm not actually in this poll !? Serious respect to all in this poll and good luck to you all.
  14. Welcome to the 300ZX Owners Club Car of the Year Voting. The six entries for this year are as follows : AndrewG Chris300 Gaz300 bigh Joely P Oakview Details on each car and display pictures can be found on the entry thread [ here ] This voting thread will be closed automatically on the 4th of January 2020
  15. As an example i believe it's these you are looking for :
  16. I understand now. They are called 'Cup Grub Screws'
  17. Are you saying that the new BMC center hole that needs plugged doesn't have an inner thread ?
  18. They are just grub screws; however not sure of the thread type.
  19. Ours is a bit feeble compared to that mate.
  20. Its likely weeping as its not getting used enough.
  21. Its a percentage of the declared value that Z1 has put on the parcel plus various courier fees.
  22. Lots of changes to the club over the last month or so with the upgrade and move away from vBulletin. The next thing inline to get an overhaul is the Classifieds; the new system is a purpose built ecommerce system rather than just a sub forum with tags in the title of each post we create. That being said the new system has lots of new features that allows as to shake things up a bit. First thing we have done is reduce the categories down to four split between 'Car For 'Sale' and 'Parts For Sale' and the wanted variants. You can now post an offer officially for items so there is no first dibs. Next thing and likely the biggest thing we have done is open up the classified system so that 'Standard Members' can sell too. So all that's needed to sell is to be apart of the 'Standard Members' group and that's where a few other things are changing. The user member base has been split up into 3 groups as follows : Registered As you register for the club you are placed in this group and if and when you create 30 posts and have been a member for 30 days then you are promoted to a Standard User Registered members can reply to Standard and Premium selling posts but cannot post to sell. Standard Member This group is allowed to use the Classified System but there selling posts are less prominent than Premium Members Also the selling time is default to 7 days before the post expires. Members in this group will stay as a Standard member as long as your activity doesn't fall below 30 days of inactivity. Premium Member (paid) This group has full selling rights and is allowed to create their own selling area. Any selling will be shown evenly with other Premium Content and will be shown ahead of Standard members. Selling has no time limit for Premium Members and the items being sold will auto renew. So this means you have to at least contribute towards posting on the club and be an active user for 30 days to sell. All Premium Member Adverts are featured content; and are displayed in various locations on the site and in front of Standard Members so that as a Paid member you still have a greater benefit over normal users. Rules are also in place to Promote and Demote Registered and Standard Members based on there activity and posts towards the community. This new system is active; however we will change it if necessary if we feel its not working properly. Any issues please let me know.
  23. Hi all, I'm looking to change the way the classified system works and start to allow the 'Standard Member' group to be able to sell. This is going against the way it has always been for the club but hear me out on the following - The user member base has been split up into 3 groups as follows : Registered As you register on the site you are placed in this group and if when you create 30 posts and been a member for 30 days then you are promoted to a Standard User Registered members can reply to Standard and Premium selling posts but cannot post to sell. Standard Member This group is allowed to use the Classified System but there selling posts are less prominent than Premium Members Also the selling time is default to 7 days before the post expires. Premium Member (paid) This group has full selling rights and is allowed to create their own selling area. Any selling will be shown evenly with other Premium Content and will be shown ahead of Standard members. Selling has no time limit for Premium Members. So this means you have to at least contribute towards posting on the club and be an active user for 30 days to sell. All Premium Member Adverts are featured content and are displayed in various locations on the site and in front of Standard Members so that as a Paid member you still have a greater benefit over normal users. Rules are also in place to Promote and Demote Registered and Standard Members based on there activity and posts towards the community. Hopefully when activated this new system will encourage more interaction and invite people from the social media areas.
