  1. Yeh, Bought the hot glue gun from bnq last year for about £15 When fitting I just glue it to the full stereo/heater facia then install that as one piece then fit my stereo! Good thing about hot glue it just peels off like rubber laters!
  2. which facia did you get ? If its the din type then i just used a hot glue gun ! heres a few pics of mine :
  3. boost guage comes from the sender which is near drivers side of engine. tap into it on the clocks or install a new independant sender. not sure if you can run two guages from the feed of one sender.
  4. Heres a good link, tells you what every pin is :- http://www.allpinouts.org/index.php/1990_-_1995_Nissan_300ZX_ECU O2 Sensors are on pins 29 and 55.

No probs; I'll do my best to get down, sooner we know a date time the better chance I will likely be able to come by booking the time off work.

If it's 30 min drive from yours and 100 min drive from mine then it's not really a central area then. If it's a weekday I won't have enough time to get down !

thats nearly an hour 40 minutes drive for me ! cant we get closer too glasgow, as theres a few ayrshire boys that might come ?

At a push; but will need to leave work early and book time off as the distance i've to travel up. mind i tried this last time and arrived late as work held me back.
  10. air fuel can be connected to the ecu but theres two outputs; one for each o2 sensor. Best thing to do is use a switch to go between sensors. Oil pressure will need a sender to replace stock to be more accurate {this disables the dash one} Boost i think you can take from the clocks in the main gauge cluster or use a seperate sender and plum into the vacuum pipes. Which guages di you get ? I've just ordered 3 more iridium drift guages from luke.
  11. lol, no worries ! Glad groover can now get a hold of one easily !
  12. isn't it funny how on these forums you can inadvertantly fix someones elses problems by posting about your own !:sneaky2: right anybody near the ayrshire / glasgow side that i could borrow one from ? :helpsmilie:
  13. Thanks for the tips so far Jeff ! Fixed the TPS - easy done. Heres the new read outs plus two others i missed last time.
  14. That's was good - although it took most of the gutter with it !

I'm good for next weekend too !
  16. Since the last check you did I've had a plenum swap ! Also had the rocker covers powder coated, fuel filter changed, replaced all the vacuum tubes, replaced most Of the oem pipes for new too ! How do you adjust the tps then and I'll start from there ! Also my zed doesn't have an egr I think !
  17. heres the one i saw : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-PC-QUALITY-COMPRESSION-TESTER-NEW-/150417327179?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item230592444b
  18. thats exactly the one i looked at but wondered if it was crap as its so cheap ! theres the more expensive one at about 35 on ebay too
  19. i done my bypass a few weeks ago and to be honest it was real easy, buy yourself a new plenum gasket too as likely the old one will tear when you pull it off.
  20. wow, thats was mental !
  21. hi folks, looking to get a compression guage, any recomendations ?
  22. Got a hold of conzult and just wanted a knowing member to check out these readings and see if they make sense and if anything needs to be adjusted. I'm still thinking i've got some sort of leak down the passengers side of the engine; i've checked and carefully listened but cannot pinpoint it; seems to be down the back end of the right side of the balance bar - small hissing noise. Anyways heres the pics of conzult.
  23. First off is it a NA or TT ? Have you got the plennum off yet ?
