  1. None of these are setup in your forum settings Jeff ! Even though I can access your profile directly; mods and other committee cannot, so we have no idea your contact email is wrong. Its up to the user to update this information directly via the settings panel located at the upper right side of the forums page.
  2. If you don't mind me asking which two do you use ?
  3. As I said in your other post :
  4. Hi Jeff, The forums processes an automated email every night for any user found to be due to there subs running out. This happens no matter what type of sub they have, either regular member or trader. I checked the logs and we did indeed send a reminder but it failed and was returned. Now I'm not willing to post your email address but I did independently send my own email to it and once again It was rejected, I can only suggest that you please check your profile and settings and update your email address to something that is most current and one that can be checked by yourself or other staff / family members. I hope this explains why you never get reminder emails. If I can assist in any email tests let me know. Regards Lee
  5. If it was only like this : [video=youtube_share;bl8Z-gLLSg0]http://youtu.be/bl8Z-gLLSg0
  6. Correct, There was an old Rep system but it was tied into the old garage and to be honest it was more like a glorified comments page. When we swapped over to the new system everyone level was back dated from the day they joined as a normal user and new users from that day forth that have signed up start at zero.
  7. You can see you own comments left for you in the setting panel or in your profile under the reputation tab.
  8. green button under the post number at the top right of each post !
  9. If you feel the two water pipes as you will be able to tell with the heat transfer if water is flowing through them. although saying that if it was jammed shut you would be having over heating issues, so your lucky its jammed open rather than been closed.
  10. How hot does the radiator feel ? could be the stats jammed open, so the engine has to heat up the full coolent system. i had the same issue on my zed and never even knew about it until two years ago Jeff told me at JAE.
  11. Also remember that Rep Level point can be taken away by anyone if they don't like your posts. And if they have a higher Rep Power then the more points that will come off.
  12. I think your getting confused with Rep Level and Rep Power ! You know show 2 bars as I enabled your rep as it was somehow disabled in your control panel. Rep Power is a multiplier of Rep Level and if Gary has more Rep Level because people have given him good Rep then his will be significantly higher than yours. Theres no way to cheat the system per say so I don't think from a newby point of view we are hiding or making anything up. The committee and mods do have more rep power but that's only because the post more or have been here for sometime and the fact they are mods they're more likely to get rep from people than the average user. To see your actual Rep Level go into your own settings and it doesn't show at the side bar and then you can work it out using the table above. theres only three things needed to calculate your Rep Power and its easy to do : number of full years with the club equals one point per year. number of 1000 posts in your post total equals one point per 1000 posts. lastly 1 point for every 100 Rep Level points. Rep Power is what is given if said user wants to give Rep to someone else's posts. The green bar scale for the first three or four blocks is low range so it can change quickly going up to bars worth more point so they get added less frequently. i think it's a great system as it shows who commits to the club more often and gets rep for it. Rant over.
  13. And how long you have been talking it for too ! As well as any rep given to you from others.
  14. So in essence if your a Post Whore and have been registered for a long time your Rep will be higher than most !
  15. OK, Theres been alot of discusion recently on or about the forum rep system and how its works so heres a breakdown ! Firstly theres two parts : Rep Level: How much reputation points they have currently received from other users. Rep Power: How much power (points) the user gives when they give reputation to another user. Starting of with Rep Level; Your Rep Level is the green bars to the left under your title and its basically a points system. The points and green bars are grouped by the following rules : If you take Stellaz for an example he has 8 green bars as he currently has 728 rep points and his quote shows "Stellaz is a splendid one to behold" His Rep Power is made from the following rules : Again Stellaz has a Rep Power of 41 which is calulated using the above rules : For every 365 days of being a user Stellaz gains 1 point of power which is about 8 points so far For every 1000 posts Stellaz gains 1 point of power which is currenly 25 points For every 100 points of reputation that Stellaz has he gains 1 point of power which currently is 7 So those 3 together give him a Rep Power of 40 ! Now I know Stellaz Rep is actually 41 and that's more than likely because the points above actually round up from a percentage point as his posts are actually just shy of the next target. So now you all know; please feel free to Rep me for letting you into this top secret :whistling: Any Questions ?
  16. Glad you never mentioned the next verse !:whistling:
  17. lol, I get that every morning when I leave to goto work, sometimes I wish I worked further away.
  18. why dont you just buy a zed; there a whole lot less hasle i've heard:smartass:
  19. registered users can buy and post back into the breakers yard; there was a misunderstanding of how it was originally suppose to be setup which should now be fixed.
  20. OK, fair enough, the site I got it from was actually wrong and I understood it wrong too !:mad2: I think the sight I got it from got right hand drive mixed up with right hand traffic Here's a Wikipedia link showing it the correct way.:whistling: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Low_beam_light_pattern_for_right-hand_traffic.svg
  21. What i said is complete tosh - I have seen the errors of my ways and have checked myself into the nearest rehab clinic:smartass:
  22. Below is an average (us) beam for left hand drive, its angled to the right to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. The right (uk) hand drive would be the reverse of this.
  23. Lol, i think he means the Differance between left hand drive and right hand drive! in the us the lamp is offset to point inwards on the drivers side.
  24. There's a stamp on the glass that says "E" which according to zcentre's website is left hand drive can't confirm this though :
