  5. as above . the choice of pads is endless nowadays and varies upon how and where you drive your car . mine only gets used on the road , sometimes a little bit quicker than it should be though . im in the process of fitting new discs and upgrading the fronts to 330mm ( drilled front and rear ) and hopefully a set of skyline or 350z brembo calipers although im having a job finding a set at the moment so any offers would be welcome via a pm . so the question is which pads front and rear for everyday road use that work well from cold but arnt going to fade away with a fair bit of heavy breaking thrown in . cheers guys front brembo calipers wanted aswell andy
  6. is anybody using these on their zed . just trying to get a few opinions on how good or bad they may be. cheers
  7. a big well done to all who have made this happen . im not sure of what has happened in the past but after all said and done we all joined our clubs with a common interest , our love affair with the z32 . lets all make 2012 a great year for zed meets and colaboration between clubs is the only way forward to keep our marque going strong . well done guys
  8. well today i was out with a length of pipe and a bucket . i managed to get about 5 or 6 litres out of the tank . probably about 6 or 7 left in there . i went and got a a can of diesel and dropped that in . i reckon at this point the tank was probably 50-50 petrol and diesel . after about 5 mins of cranking and a huge cloud of smoke the battery died . at thius point i thought ***k it , call the AA . they quoted me £220 + vat plus a charge for disposing of the fuel . i told the fella on the phone that his services would not be required , i might not of put it quite like that though. so i went back out and jumped it off the zed . after about 3 or 4 minutes it fired up , ran like shit but luckily my local petrol station is only a few hundred yards away . went round and brimmed the tank . £77 worth of diesel . ive driven it around steady for a few miles and she seems ok . fingers crossed i might have got lucky .
  9. just been and filled my diesel passat up with petrol . didnt realise my mistake until a couple of mile down the road when she started loosing power and spluttering . has anybody else done similar and how did you manage to sort it. im hoping draining the tank and then putting the right fuel in will sort it . any advise will be much appreciated. andy
  10. i,d just like to say a big thankyou to all at zedworld for organizing another great meet . lots of nice cars and nice people and as is the norm for jeff and the crew , supurb hospitality. and a big well done to everyone who helped raise a tidy sum for great ormond street . well done guys andy
  11. i havent read all through this but im with clarkson too . i dont know if its already been mentioned but 47% of each and everyones council tax goes on public sector pensions . now mine this year was £1000 . without the pension contribution £530 . now im a biulder , my pension is totally down to me . no public sector worker puts a single penny into my pension fund . the economy is down the sh*tter so why do these people think they should be amune to the countrywide cuts necessary to drag this country back from the brink .
