Misleading E Bay add
i spoke to the fella this morning about this car . he said it had been stood for years. so im thinking everything is gonna be goosed such as brakes and all the engine seals etc . its more than likely got outstanding issues with the law to go with it looking at the optional extra on the windscreen . obviously no mot or tax . he only wants £2000 for it . at this point i hung up

Adjusting drivers side window
loosen the three screws , move the catch in and tighten . you dont need to drill new holes . if you just slacken them slightly then tap the catch with the rubber end of your hammer

Adjusting drivers side window
agreed the clips do wear but so does the door catch . i stripped out the door card and all the gubbings in the door to change mine only to find the clips all intact and in good condition . what a PITA only to have to put it all back and still not fixed . i only decided to move the door catch on mine as the door was sticking out a couple of mm when shut and hey presto no more rattling . like most things , one problem leads to another . the easy test is when your door is shut if you press around the handle and the door moves in a little then the catch needs adjusting . if its solid then its the clip . mine used to rattle like mad when you shut the door . it now shuts with a nice solid clunk evan if the window is down. always try the easy things first .

Front brake discs
not sure where the best place to get them from is but regarding the grooving and drilling everyone usually has a different idea on it . some say grooves are better and some say drilled are best . and theres quite a few that prefer to go with flat discs . i personally have never seen a super car that hasnt had drilled discs . if porshe , lambo and ferrari go for drilled on their 200mph super cars then thats enough reccomendation for me . i made up templates based on 911 discs and drilled my own . they look far nicer in the rims in my opinion than flat or grooved discs . you do need a decent drilling machine and cobalt drill bits though to attempt it. heres a pic of mine ATTACH=CONFIG]68862[/ATTACH

Adjusting drivers side window
try the easy fix first . mine wasnt sealing as well as it should so i tapped the door catch in a mil or 2 . the screws are bloody tight , i had to give mine a knock with an impact wrench to free the screws . the door sounds a lot better now when closing , no rattling window and the seal between glass and rubber is much better .

Well done to this gent !!.......
fair play to that man , surely he can put his charges against the prosecution . lets hope so considering we are all innocent until proven guilty. at the end of the day though its a total waste of tax payers money
