  1. welcome to the club matey . ive got the auto tt . they definately arnt slow but if you do want to boost them up a bit providing everything else is running well and you have a good base engine £300 ish will get you up to approx 350bhp . new chip and induction kit . they get seriously quick around this mark andy
  2. they are specific mate .
  3. so sorry for you all . she was a lovely old girl .
  4. theres an easy way to check if your speakers are ok or not . connect a small battery between the terminals on your speaker . if it makes a clicking noise your speakers fine . no sound and your speaker is dead.
  5. yes i think he should . make it clear from the outset and that way mistakes cant be made .
  6. anybody who either knows or has dealt with either jeff ,jamie or lynda either personally or through zedworld will know how honest and helpful they are . obviously at some point there has been some confusion arising from a picture on here . lets not forget the hard work these guys have put in over the years building up their business and reputation . a nicer , a more helpfuf trio i challenge anyone to find . lets remember these are the guys who turn up at J.A.E each year , pay £30 to get in and then spend all day fixing zeds (free of charge) and not even getting to look around the show . last year saw jeff changing a fellow zedders wheel in the pitch black pooring rain about 10 oclock at night after the guy got caught out driving back to scotland. again free of charge and i believe also supplying the wheel for free . i really do think shergarr you should put a similar amount of effort into clearing this matter up as you did in the original post . im not having a go mate , it just jeff and co are good guys and dont deserve this. andy
  7. that looks like part of the seatbelt that goes on the bottom of the door
  8. i preffered the old format . it was a lot easier to search for things . i do appreciate the efforts that have been put into getting this format working but it seems that lots of members arnt that thrilled about it.
  9. right ive got them seperated and the first fit of the new lighting set up fitted and tested . i,ll get some pics on when the new set up is perfected
  10. thanks guys , im going to be doing something different with these . never seen it done on another zed before . they should look ultra modern but not out of place . i will post pics on the progress
  11. ive had a look but cant seem to find a thread showing pics of how to seperate rear lenses . has anybody got a link please cheers andy
  12. to be totally honest mate some days you feel supurb and can take on anything and other days you feel like shit . a bit like pmt i suppose. always carry a chochoate bar with you in case of emergencies but to be perfectly honest , treat her exactly the same as any other girl . regarding the dinner , if shes type 1 im assuming shes taking insulin , probably a basul/bolus regime . this means that she takes 1 type of insulin in the morning or evening witch lasts for 24 hours and the other type each and every time she eats . if she eats something containg a few more carbohydrates (i.e. ice cream) then she will have to take a little more insulin . dont worry mate it becomes second nature after a while.
  13. to be honest mate , ive had type 1 for 28 years now . a little bit of ice cream aint gonna hurt anyone , im guessing that shes recently been diagnosed and so is being extra cautious . dont take her to the cake shop for a date and buy her flowers instead of chocholates .
  14. im type 1 too . anything i can help you with feel free to ask
  15. looks pukka that mate . job well done
  16. gaz you should always use hubcentrics . the centre rim is what should be supporting the weight of your car ,not the studs . the studs are there basically to hold your wheels on . ive seen quite a few studs fail like this .
  17. if its 350 calipers as gibster said you just have to open the hub holes to 14mm . but if you are using 300 calipers you will need brackets . you might find some on ebay
  18. zedworld do remade pipes . worth giving them a call or put a post up for jefftt
  19. thats not your zed though is it jeff ? or is it yours in a previous guise
  20. the back end of mine used to wag like a happy dog . after a few brown trouser moments i changed the rear inner arms and now shes a completely different animal .
  21. has anybody used the above bulbs in their dash binnacle . do they give a good even glow as in a vw dash . ive been looking at some on fleabay , just wanted to get a bit of feedback from any of our members as to how good or bad they are. cheers andyzx

i know star city well . as a venue for a meeting you will struggle to find any spaces to park and you will have loads of chavvy teens trying to rob bits off your motors. lots of nasty little speed bumps aswell
  23. that is cheap . i might get two lol
