the only joint is in the centre . if the plays at the back by the diff , thats where your problem is likely to be .

shouldnt be any play at the diff . if its got a lot of play i,d guess that your diff has give up the ghost . the centre bearing will give you play in the middle of the prop if its weak but not at the diff

similar thing happened to me . i won an item for a fraction of its true value and was well chuffed . sent the money off straight away only to get an email back saying i,d had a refund as the seller couldnt find the item .

you are best using an epoxy resin for the dash lift fix . something like araldite is just the job . it wont soften and come unstuck again when it gets hot

i always wondered how some owners managed to get away with the fins on the front corners of their zeds . not sure what they are called . ive always thought that they could slice someones leg open and for that reason wouldnt pass a mot. you live and learn all the time . its good that we have people on that are testers to sort the fact from fiction .

99.9% dodgy clocks . its a bit of a recurring fault . as mentioned above it could be your speed sensor . if all looks ok with the sensor try another speedo .

if you have the original bose boxes fitted underneath go for 6.5 round instead . a much bigger choice and better sound
