Spot on bud , this is what i found , from the PCVs it gets burnt , hence blue smoke from the rear tubo seal it gets vapourised in the red hot cast elbows hence white smoke . :scared:

I removed the nut holding the cable to the handle cos mine was fully adjusted up as well , slipped a 10mm spacer onto the cable , refitted the nut , you can now tighten it further as the cable will pull through the spacer that little bit more , worked a treat and doesn,t take long to do . HTH :thumbup:

Spoke to Daz , he got his wiring diagram off the Transit van forum , he thinks he,s still got a copy on his computer but he can,t e-mail it or post it on here until maybe the weekend when he might be back online bud . HTH

I tried the modded tt one when i deleted my hicas but for some reason i was getting pressurising back into the pot and basically blowing the fluid back out !! Ripped it out and fitted an NA pump and bracket , sorted , BTW you,ll find the tt pulleys have a four ribbed belt and the NA has a three ribbed belt so the tt belt won,t fit , you,ll either need a NA belt or i just remove one rib on the tt one with a knife , that does the trick. Also the mounting bolts for th NA bracket are longer than the tt ones . HTH

Check your main ecu connector , either too tight or too lose can cause this , mine started on 5 a few weeks ago and we tried everything to trace the problem , then i remembered reading about this cause , although i,d had the ecu out it ran perfect after originally re-fitting it , so i loosened it , made sure it was seated right and tightened it up again and hey presto no misfire :thumbup1::thumbup1: Worth a check even though you might not have touched it .

Performance Direct quoted me with mods declared over a grand and i,m 45 FFS !! and the zed was gonna be a second car with only 1500 miles limit :taz: Tried a few others but found Graham Sykes Insurance , they do classic and modded classics as well , £300 with mods :thumbup::thumbup:

I,ve had a set of Japspeed on mine for a good few years now without any probs , i fitted them when it was an auto , i,ve just converted to manual and had no probs with clearance or fit . HTH
