  1. Well done bud , go and have a beer to celebrate :pint::pint::pint::pint:
  2. Nice one Steve , it,ll be great if you can make it bud :dance::dance::dance::dance:
  3. That pic was before being modded , i drilled new mounting holes an inch higher than the ones used but had to trim a bit of metal off the corners of the headlamp panels as the intercooler was gonna foul on them , just gave me a bit more clearance at the bottom as they do hang fairly low . IIRC these ones are £250 off fleabay .:thumbup:
  4. The rod that goes into the clutch master cylinder is also adjustable , i had to wind mine out a fair bit for it to work right , to get to it take the nuts off the master cylinder , move it out of the way to gain access to the rod protruding out of the clutch servo and you,ll see the end of the rod has a domed headed screw in end that screws in and out for adjustment .HTH
  5. Yep ,well the Autobahn one, i was impressed with the quality for the price:thumbup: Although i did mod the top mounting bracket to raise it up about an inch higher .
  6. Ah , not far away bud , we,ve got a meet at the bubble next sunday if your interested bud , details in the midlands section .:thumbup1::thumbup1: Cheers Allan
  7. Couldn,t agree with you more bud , i,m now manual , chipped and boosted and it,s a completely different animal compared to how it used to be :thumbup1:and it,s bloody fantastic to drive:thumbup::thumbup:

  10. Watcha Chris , i was hoping you,d seen this , it,ll be good for us to catch up with you and Shell , we aint had a meet and grub for ages :thumbup1:. Time wise i was thinking around 12.30 onwards ??? time for a chat , drink and dinner without making it too late for people to get back as a few people have previous engagements they need to get to later in the afternoon . If people prefer a different time let me know and we,ll try and accomodate everyone . Cheers Allan
  11. Please bud , that would be handy , i don,t think there,s any regular jap meets any more to join in with but there shouldn,t be that many of us so we can always use the joe public car park if we need to :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

There,s not alot of meets at the mo so is anyone up for a get together , beer and food . Does the 4th september sound ok you midland lot ? If there,s a fair few want to go and have a dinner i,ll see if i can reserve a large table for us all if it,s possible . Cheers Allan http://www.thebubbleinn.com/
  17. Hope it works for you bud , i smoked for 25 years but packed up about 4 years ago , it,s the best thing i,ve ever done and i,ll never start again that,s for sure , keep at it bud , once you,ve stopped you,ll realise how much better it,ll make you feel . :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  18. A good quality mask is fine , sprayers use full paper overalls and air fed masks cos they,re using it daily and IIRC you can get obsorbsion through the skin hence the full cover. Using a small amount every now and again shouldn,t give you any problems as long as your careful , but don,t quote me on that ! lol
  19. I got mine finished , booked a holiday only to realise afterwards it,s knackered me up for JAE :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal :crying::crying:
  20. A guy across the road from me has an Anglia with a Rover v8 in !!
  21. Thanks bud :blushing::blushing:
  22. Sounds like a neat transplant , there,s certainly enough room in the engine bay but might need the tranmission tunnel modding , I,m a big fan of Mantas , i,ve had 4 of them :punk:
  23. Hiya bud , i wanted to smooth it off but at the same time i was getting rid of the corrosion that was forming around the seams like you see in alot of Zed inner wings , i basically cut out the corroded sections , seam welded new bits in and just smoothed it off with a fair bit of filling . HTH
  24. Ayup Deano , how you keeping bud ? Yes the old girls changed a little over the last year os so , using her as a daily driver for six years started to take it,s toll both on the body and mechanicals so i decided to do something about it , just a few things she,s had done . New rear arches and sill sections , deseamed the inner wings for a smooth look, new low mileage engine with manual turbos , manual conversion , ZWorld chip and a boost controller , leather interior , lowered , blended kit and much much more !! A few pics I,m loving driving her again and it goes like a bloody rocket as well !! There,s no plans to sell her but i,m looking at starting a buisness in the near future so you never know if funds are needed :wink: Cheers bud Allan
