  2. Jeez a guy across the road from me has a genuine RS2000 with the Ford X pack box arches , was a barn find in Ireland it,s was last on the road about 20 years ago , in black , needs a little tidying but he,s got it MOT,d !!! Trouble is he,tries to restore old classics and ruins them cos his bodyworking skills are crap :crying::crying: It,s a shame cos he,ll probably kill the value of it :headvswal:headvswal
  3. Nah nowt as fancy as that , it,s just a two way toggle switch :crying:
  4. Just wanted to say thanks to Mantav8 for his help with this little gadget :thumbup1: Cheers bud .

  9. We made it bud , i just think a huge number plate spoils the look so when i,m at a meet or show , not on the road of course:whistling::wink: i can fold it out of the way :yes: Used a rear wiper motor of a small car , chopped it around , made a mechanism , added a couple of micro switches to limit the movement and fitted a two way toggle switch in the car , here,s a mock up we did .
  10. Now you see it ... Click piccy

  13. Although it is legal to drive to the MOT station without car tax i must admit i still went a very very long way round :innocent: lol
  14. It,s been the first time i,ve driven it properly for nearly 14 months a by fook did it feel good :dance::dance: Pulls like a train and that,s set up on standard boost ! , gonna be fitting a Zedworld chipped ecu and wind the boost up :whistling: let the fun begin :devil2::devil2: LOL The only trouble now is i,ve got to wait for the first of next month to get it taxed , that,s 12 bl00dy days :crying:, I CAN,T COPE HELPPPP.
  15. ^^^^^^^ That,s good , i,ve got basically the same cover with Graham Sykes with mods for £300 with no N/C as it,s used on my daily driver.
  16. Jeeez that,s got to be the patchyist paint job ever !!!!
  17. Been busy then ! lol I like the surround , don,t like the centre panel though :biggrin::biggrin:
  18. As the bottom hinge has probably worn worse than the top all this does is put the door back to where it originally was , don,t forget you,ll be looking at the door gap when it,s closed after it,s been lifted onto the catch so the gap looks ok but as you open it it drops , it,s that drop that this sorts .HTH
  19. That looks the *****x Graham :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  20. The way i did it a few years ago was to slip a washer between the lower door hinge and the door , remove one bolt , you,ll notice it has shoulders on the bolt , make sure the hole in the washers you,ll be using is big enough for this to go through , loosen the other lower bolt , put your knee under the door and lift it enough for a gap to open up and slip the washer in , put the first bolt back in loose and repeat on the other bolt , now tighten them up . The thickness of one washer is usually enough to lift your door enough but if the hinges are really worn you might have to double up , only takes ten minutes and is alot easier than trying to move the upper hinge forward on the A post as it,s a real pain to get to the bolts . HTH Sorry pics aren,t very good
  21. PMSL , He must have looked like he,d gone 10 rounds with Tyson in the morning !!!
  22. Not for mine bud , took it in midday saturday and picked it up on the monday , they didn,t have the correct fitting for the opposite end to the pump so they actually used the end few inches of the original pipe and joined it to a new length of hose and then re-used the metal pipe that connects it to the pump , it,s been on a few years now with no probs :thumbup::thumbup:
  23. I,ve never seen that one knocking around , looks quite nice !
  24. If it,s the high pressure hose , i had one made up but using the original ends at PIRTEK they have branches all over , even mobile vans/workshop to do work on site , cost me £45 .HTH http://www.pirtek.co.uk/
