  1. Well my Aldi "crap" compressor has been doing me stirling service for the last 3 years and still is !!. i know what your saying about getting the best but if it,s only for small diy jobs a cheaper set up would do fine , if anyones looking at wanting to go into spraying in a big way then yes you,ll need bigger and better .
  2. I don,t Pete i,m not a painter :tt2::tt2::tt2: lol But give me a bucket of filler and i,m away with the fairys :w00t:
  3. It,s a damn site easier with the engine out bud , the only down side is all the extra bits you end up replacing cos of things breaking whilst taking it apart , finding all those perished pipes and connectors and stuff but on the upside once all those little bits are done it does help give you trouble free motoring . I did this myself and never had any of those niggly little problems again , no pipes springing leaks and dodgy connections causing running issues .HTH

  6. If your only going up to the size of a bumper the aerosols that are made up for you at a motorfactors are bloody great for small-ish jobs , when i did my engine bay i had the base colour coat put in aerosols , it took 2 cans but used a spray gun and compressor i,d bought from Aldi ages ago to spray the 2 pack laquer on top , came out great considering i painted it outside !!
