  9. That,s frigging stunning :thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup1:
  10. On 19,s i agree but these are 18,s and i think it makes them look smaller than they are .:yes: I reckon they,re gonna look nice in a nice glossy white , not something i,d normally go for but hey a change is as good as a rest :cool3:
  11. Lol , get me one in :yes:. I,ve gone for white , if i,m not keen at least it,s a good base to paint on , i,ll get some pics up next week when i fetch them .
  12. Similer to what i did on mine , took a bit of sorting but was well worth it. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=142121

  14. Just finishing off working on the zed last week when an elderly neighbour that i,ve spoke to a few times popped his head into my tent and said i heard your compressor going , do you want a air spanner ? so i,m thinking what,s an air spanner , i ask him do you mean an air ratchet ?, he says yeah i think , it,s in a case with sockets i,ll never use do you want it , ok i said and thanks very much so he goes home and brings back a brand new impact gun in a case with sockets extensions and stuff .:thumbup1::thumbup1: What a nice thing to happen out of the blue and a nice bloke as well . Anyone else had owt nice happen ?
  15. It aint blue yet ya plonker :tongue_smilie: lol
  16. I,m liking the bronze , how do ya fancy a straight swap ? lol :thumbup1:
  17. Ayup Pete , took a few for you . The trims had to be ground off like removing a doorskin as they,re bent over the edge of the rim so they can,t be re-used , i must admit i wasn,t impressed with the amount of corrosion that started to appear , they weren,t cheap rims at £800 !! There,s a little reccess moulded into the lip for the stainless lip to sit in.
  18. That,s what i was thinking , gold looks nice on blue but it,s a bit old now , quite like the white , good thing is if i get bored with white it,s a good colour as a base to paint on top of , the place i,m using are local and havn,t got a big range of metallic colours but loads of straight ones , i just want them powder coating so they don,t corrode like they did from new :hammer::hammer:
  19. I,m having my Ultralite Hikari,s blasted and powder coated but i,m not sure what colour , they don,t have the stainless trim around the lip anymore , i had to remove them to get to the corrosion they were causing :crying: Also my cars gonna be blue , what,s your thoughts ?? I have toyed with gold or even gloss black . This colour blue
  20. Nissan issued a bulletin about the amount of play allowed in these arms as many were being failed wrongly , you should print this off and check with the MOT station to see if they were within tollerence . HTH http://www.300zx.org.uk/nissan_bulletin.htm
  21. That looks the cats conkers Daz :bow::bow::bow:
  22. Ooh now i like that !! :punk::punk::punk:
  23. It said on the news the other day that they,re toying with the idea of letting pupils use computers in the exams !!! as that,s how they do all their schooling these days and it,s unfair to expect them to do things that include thinking about what they,ve learnt. Britains doomed , it,s gonna be run by a load of retards who can,t read or write:no::no:
  24. It,s bolted same as the original one to the wings but it had never had the main mounting bar fitted so i did that but it needed a few mods. The alloy mounting bar is a box section but wouldn,t sit right under the top edge of the bumper cos of the thickness of the fibreglass so i trimmed the top of it off to give me clearance , marked up the holes drilled and bolted it up then trial fitted the nose panel cos that also uses this for fitment and it fits a treat . HTH
  25. Thanks for the comments guys , i,ve got to get it done i,m sooo missing driving it :blush::blush::blush: lol
