  1. yeah, good find but this information is already on this forum... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166587-Owners-manual&highlight=manual http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?24018-300ZX-Online-service-manual&highlight=manual and there are also other post pointing to: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Factory+Service+Manual and http://nissan4u.com/parts/ :)
  2. its from here... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?178477-speedo-fitment&highlight=speedo
  3. not sure if you're aware but there are two types of cluster, Series 1 & 2 you can't use a different type to the one on the car as the wires are different (unless you rewire) .. you can tell as the plugs on the back are vertical on one and then horizontal on the other.
  4. it's a long process... first you must make sure everything is giving the correct readings, the easiest way to ensure that is to make sure all connectors are clean and on correctly. id still not right there could be either sensor or unit issues. (CAS, PTU, coil packs, injectors .. blah.. blah) fuel filter & plug could also do with replacement (you really want the least amount of possible fault variables). make sure the timing is right (this is critical) and has to be done with a timing light.. so a search on the 6Ps or adjusting the timing. once they are correct and all is right then you can adjust the idle valve. I hope that helps..
  5. Hey, I'm not positive but issues with stall when cold could be related to the ecu temp sensor unit (might just need the contacts cleaned).. the restart issue could be over fueling related, I know if you stall when cold starting and try and it doesn't work you can easily flood the car. the fix is take the fuel pump fuse out and crank it to clear fuel... then fuse back in and off you go. It has happened to me a couple of times, if it is that then no real issue. good luck. and not sure about the steering...
  6. Yeah, like Groover says and both fuses (there are two, one for indicators and one for hazards), check the hazard switch isn't half on, that will affect the indicators. check all the indicators for corrosion or damaged wires causing a short.
  7. this might be useful... http://www.evoscan.com/technical-vehicle-manuals/71-nissan-skyline-r34-r35-datalogging-ecu-reprogramming and this.. M15 (Check connector, top of pic, in the middle) http://www.karljapetre.com/z/ecu/eccs-color.gif I extended mine and moved it to the glove box for easy access.. (and yes there are more wires on it than in the diagram.... due to the harness it related to) good luck.. :)
  8. I't my understanding that a 21W bulb is the unacceptable unit for a rear fog light.. (it's the same as a break light). it may be the case that either your bulb or your connectors need replacement or cleaning (could just be bad contact) or it could be the wiring to your fog light. I've always found external fog lamp fittings to be a problem and unreliable.. unless you fit an expansive one.. Alternatively, speak to phutumsch, he can mod your center light section (much easier to remove than the break/indicator sections) with extra dedicated fog bulbs.. or you could convert one side yourself.. (you will need a red colored bulb since the sections only had a clear lens. I hope that helps. this is an example of one of his jobs using led panels (I'm not sure if they're still available) .. but the same can be done with ordinary bulbs... like this.. (one I did)
  9. Steering rack & column .. Bought to resolve an issue that turned out to be a lower ball joint and loose fitting on the column. Steering rack - £50 delivered (will need one of the metal lines/pipes replaced, damaged when sent to me) Steering column - £40 delivered (comes with ignition lock, key & harness) Pics available if anyone is interested.

  12. LOL... mine has also just run out... need to either SORN or TAX it but with this being the beginning of the new system... I might just have to wait a few days for it calm down...
  13. LOL.. there is always at least one comedian... :)
  14. Hi, yeah, there is a lot of preventative maintenance you should do... First check your work to make sure there are no air leaks. (particularly if there wasn't a problem before you did anything). then check and clean all connectors (some are hard to get to).. so MAF, TPS, PTU, IAVC, CAS, injectors, ecu temp sender unit ... etc... after that there are settings that need to be checked ... this is good: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/922678/The-6-Ps-Proper-Preparation-Prevents-Piss-Poor-Performancegt.html this is another good one: http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.335 good luck..
  15. this is what I've got... £18 posted ...

  18. what plugs did you use? and how do you know the injectors aren't working?
  19. I assume you've tested it and it doesn't work... mind you there is a minimum speed at which it will work. aside from that the above advise it spot on.. :)
  20. here... http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.330
  21. there is also a mod/fix for the dim clock light ... not sure how good it is but others have done it.. I guess a bit of experience with electrics would help... I'll see if I can find a link..
  22. I think there is some kind of bush on the stick that can wear and if so give similar symptoms.. try that first as it st he cheapest option... have a search on the forum as I think there are a few threads on it. good luck.
  23. Ah, since I couldn't get confirmation from the suppliers as to what was required I bought the adjustable one (one way only, so you have to be sure, as you release pressure). however I can assure you it wasn't very much (i.e. not strong). sorry I can't be of any more help.
  24. LOL.. I work in Wales and when you say are the only countries that want to be part of the 'United Kingdom'.. I think you are a little confuses because Wales have a large number of people who also want Wales to be independent from England. I don't see what the fuss is about myself... and I'm sure they'd have a much better change of getting a good deal with in the UK as going it alone in the EU... I guess it's all about how you see yourself and the country you live in. The welsh also say that it wouldn't change the flag if they left because there is no part of their flag in it...
