  1. it's easy enough to pull the trim off and undo the hose from the top drain and there by check yourself... from memory i think its standard 15mm coper pipe but you'd better check yourself. and don't forget to check the back ones as well. good luck..
  2. see if you can get hold of a second had set of backing sections... should be cheap enough..
  3. you could always do this... (add an extra bulb to both sides)
  4. you could find all the relevant information (i.e. flow rates, pressure, filter size...) ans ask a filter manufacturer.. good luck..
  5. could be related to HICAS ... guess it depends on the spec of your car... electrical circuit diagrams for the engine bay are available and not too hard to follow..
  6. info... http://z32.wikispaces.com/Oil+Pressure+Sending+Unit
  7. i think that is to do with US and euro setup (again so it doesn't interfere with the steering) ... so in the UK (Oz, Japan & NZ) it needs to be on the near side.. you could try by removing the steering shaft but maybe you should measure it first... I'd be a little more inclined to put it on the other side and extend the harness. best of luck.
  8. not 100% on this but it looks like there are only two, manual and auto... http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1992_3/type_1/power_train/speedometer_pinion/
  9. as far as boost leak test, just make yourself a plug... I've made a few in the past... e.g. i wouldn't bother with the smoke matches... a waste of time really...
  10. try the cheapest, easiest things first... full PM(clean) on connectors, then a vac test.. so many things ... ecu temp sender .. CAS .. blah..blah the boost fluctuation "may" be down to a running issue and not vacuum or the controller..
  11. did you look at the fuse boxes in the engine bay front & at the fire wall (drivers side)..
  12. have you done anything to try and sort it out yet? this is a good read... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.335

  14. good one guys... thanks :thumbup::thumbup:
  15. Hi, I can't remember how to tell what side is what... can anyone please help !! i haven't noticed any marks on them to indicate... (ps, no i don't have a car to put them on)
  16. good advice, conzult or nisture are a must!... you've also started preventative maintenance.. (plugs and filters) you just need to keep going. check the timing (with a timing light) and check and clean all electrical connections. You'll also need to check the TPS and MAF.. and clean throttle bodies .. the 6Ps are a good start.. http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=922678 good luck..
  17. is it worth trying to bypass the fuel ecu? http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.369 if you want to try another one I have one you can have cheap as well... I've also got a pump.
  18. these any good... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?56187-Parts-list-for-auto-manual-conversion http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?168041-Man-conversion-parts&highlight=conversion and a shed load of stuff on transmissions... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?53-Transmission
  19. Engine injector/accelerator cable cover… In Good original condition £14 posted.
  20. agree with Joel... but harness connections are the first thing to check... make sure they're good and rust free.. the symptoms point to the ecu temp sender unit (the two pronged one)... check its connector and if still an issue thing about changing it.. good luck. but could be green or yellow..
  21. two large (main beam) and one small (high beam) rubber covers for the bulb holders .... job lot £5 posted...
  22. **** SOLD ***** one Pair of rear light center section seals is very good condition... £5 posted (as mentioned above)
  23. I've got a second had one you can have cheap.. you can then get a new seal kit for it.. (but it might be OK as is, i bought it to replace my one, but never got around to it) I can post you some pics (tomorrow) of it to compare to your one if you like...
  24. if it is the rear bearings and you want some.. give Chris a call - Call:01803 850050 or Email info@conceptua-tuning.co.uk
  25. yes to all the above.... did you clean all the connectors and make sure they are good? for all the loom.. :) I can say form experience that you are bet off to do a full PM on the car before replacing any components ... look at the 6Ps .. best of luck.
