possible PTU problem?
I would say you'd be better off borrowing a good working one form someone first.. do the FULL check and clean off all electrical connectors ... PTU, CAS, coils, injectors, TPS ... etc.. first (particularly after a wet winter). it might save you a fortune.. good luck.

Steering Rack Seal Replacement
If you're interested I have a steering rack in good condition that I want rid of... I bought it to replace mine but never got around to it... you could do a full service / refurbish on it.. I'll have to confirm but but as long as MyHermes is OK with the size you can have it for £30 delivered if you're interested. (you'll have to replace one of the outside pipes as it was already damaged when I got it).

stage 2 clutch
Hi, its a Stage 2 Organic clutch http://competitionclutch.com/csindex.php?vn=stage-2-info I had it on the car for about 6 months but after I had the engine replaced I was worried that it might not take 500 bhp.. so I got the six puck racing one instead. I live in Devon.. I can set a shipping cost for you, I think Myhermes will not be too bad. email me medallion_man @ blueyonder.co.uk if you're interested. (obviously without the spaces) :)

Refitting air con
I guess you need to decide if it's really worth the trouble and are you going for used or new parts... and then if you're going to redo the old heater matrix at the same time.. I don't know but at a wild guess I'd put in in above a hundred with second had bits.. maybe three with combined new and old .... and fyi a new heater matrix is about £45

intermittent fuelling/stalling issues?...
this might help... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.393 also worth checking the MAF and air filter (and cleaning the filter & MAF connectors).. http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.383 this is all easy to do...

intermittent fuelling/stalling issues?...
and easy check is also the ecu temp sender unit, this little bugger can cause all kinds of issues with fueling... worth changing just as regular maintenance. if the ecu is getting the wrong information it will try to compensate by doing the wrong thing ... usually causing over-fueling. but as NOZ says, check for codes and also do PM on the car (winter makes things worse, so checking wiring and connectors is a must). good luck.

water on the inside of windscreen
Hey, I don't think the heater matrix leak is associated with no heating when is at the stage that seam is escaping and causing lots of condensation on the inside of the windscreen. so as far as i know there are number of things that could be causing it... the leaking matrix or pipes could be one of them. just because you can't see any leaks doesn't mean there aren't there.. the water could easily be running under the carpet ... you would really need to lift the carpet up to check... door sill trim (and bits off). is your water level going down at all? it could also be water getting in to the the cabin via the roof and saturating the trims.. these in turn would cause a high moisture content in the cabin and then condense on the screens. do a check on the taga drain holes. or maybe water in the boot... check the wheel well... good luck...

need some help,
maybe swap it back and also redo/check any other work you've done in the last few days.. I would do a full check on all the electrics as well.. right from ECU through CAS and injectors etc... check for good connection and no corrosion... a regular thing when doing work on these is dislodging something by accident... you could then go ahead with the 6Ps ...

My Z is sick..........
Hey, not sure how you are finding the leaks... I found the best way was to get a section of hose (i.e. about 1 meter), put one end to your ear and use the other to find any noise. this is not a totally accurate way but it sure gives you a better change of narrowing the location down. good luck.
