Nothing too major just a whole host of silly little things! :) Main one being the underdrive pulley is a bag of crap and some numb nuts at nissan main dealer must have dropped it at some point. Going to baggins later this month for Unorthodox pulley and a whole lot of servicing and aftermarket guages, really cant wait!!

If my car is working I may pop down, will be interesting to see how things have moved on down there since I used to take my silvia there 8 years ago!!!!

as soon as my car is working again I will let you know, my neighbour two doors down has a stunning GTO, '95 with ALL the xtras, 320bhp as standard, six speed, 4wd, TC, etc etc, He took me for a spin a while ago and it was bloody stunning, seriously quick and just stuck to the road, doing a roundabout in basingstoke at 90-100, I would be hard pushed to do 60-70 around without loosing it. Going to get my G-tech in it at some point and spend a sunday afternoon doing some comparisions. will be interesting...

I bought some that should have been direct replacements but they didnt fit, so I just yanked the LED and resistor out of the holder and soldered the frickers in place!! :D

not surprised he gave up, service manual says they can be swapped with the engine in, ask any of the experts here and they'll tell you its a lot easier just to pull the engine!! :shock:

shimpys kit recommends the rad bracket bolts, either side of the plenum there are a couple of points and a few more I cant remember right now! :)

run live and earth cables from the battery will be best, always best to have a nice strong clean earth for ICE installed. there is so much electrical frippery in the zed you'll probably end up with low volume buzzing etc.. if you dont. PITA but the end result will be worth it.

gotta say guys aston's are my dream car, db6/7/9, vantage, vanquish, hard top, rag top, old and new, even the crap ones... love em all to bits... would gladly see the back of the zed to have one.... sorry!! :) dont hate me!!

Sorry to hear that fella, dont let yourself get too low about things, the business and financial side of things can always be rebuilt. As far as the Ex goes Ive been through apalling shit with women and its true what they say time is a great healer, feels like you're never going to get back on your feet to start with but it does get better! funnily enough I was dicking around with a belkin bluetooth dongle thingie on my laptop this morning, was a complete PITA but got it working eventually....

completly changes to look of the car.... its quite an amazing transformation actually. not sure about the end result, I prefer a more standard looking zed.

Can anybody recommend a good piece of free software to rip MP3s from CDs? Everything I can find is either a free trial period or has quality limited until you pay up for the software.... Something nice and simple and free like DVD shrink would be cool.... Cheers
