  1. and anyway, im trying to hit 1000 posts before I say goodbye to the zed!! WHORE!!! :D
  2. not long to wait now, i forgot to mention one major problem with it, a bird crapped on it from a great height this morning.. will need a wash! :D
  3. LMAO "YOU CAN GO TWICE AS FAST" his friend shouts.... haha
  4. I think its an aftermarket mod to fit them, pretty expensive too! indicators is a factory option but at 20 grand not many people go for it! :D
  5. It just really caught my eye when I was out tyre kicking on the weekend, what other cars have you got in mind? Im a bit of a mare with motors and tend to swap them every 6-12 months so im always open to suggestions! :D I have to admit im gutted the zed is going, Im sure I will be buying another one next year, probably get one that is highly modded and have it as a "toy car"
  6. lmao about the indicators, I checked them on mine and they definitely work! :D Im only obnoxious when very very drunk and tired and dont think that will change now I own a bimmer, :D In all honesty I think that the zed is a much more "special" car, just needed something a bit more "normal" for work, and as much as I hate to say it "respectable" or maybe anonymous is the word, felt a bit of a wally turning up to see customers in it sometimes, ?!?! astrassuck + Mujina, http://www.imc-online.co.uk/Action.Lasso?-database=ecar2dta&-response=f-cardetail.html&-layout=Data&-sortField=Price&-sortOrder=descending&-op=bw&-LogicalOperator%20value=AND&-op=bw&Operator%20value='=='&-op=bw&DealerNumber=1045&-maxRecords=1&-skipRecords=37&-search thats the one! will be picking it up thursday now, having sold the Zed (sorry kay wont have the M3 there tonight for you to have a nosey, will try hard to get my arse to the pod one weekend though..) I cant be without a decent car for long, plus I have a date with a ladeeee on thursday night and no way am I going in my 17 year old golf!! :D would definitly recommend IMC, very professional outfit, I went there saying my budget was between 12-15k and they could have spun me a load of crap about "needing" to get an evo model (I know nothing about them) but he was very honest saying he prefers the gearbox in the 5 speed m3 and also about the potential reliability issues with the evo engines.
  7. sh1t thats bad luck... did you get points? or was it just a fine?
  8. got it from these chaps, was very impressed with them to be honest, mostly m3's of all ages... http://www.imc-online.co.uk/about.html
  9. the leather is not actually that bright, it must just be the light in the photo or somthing... probably a bit "in your face" for some people but I like it :D
  10. oops sorry wrong forum... should have been in general discussion..
  11. Too many doors I know but I still like her! :D
  12. bit too juicy, the idea of the m3 was that it would be cheaper to run, dread to thing what rubber for the m5 would cost! about the size of f1 tyres arent they? :D nearly hung on till my mates dad sold his 540, but decided that was a little too "old man" :D
  13. sounds like a billy bullshitter! :D
  14. first fifteen minutes of shaving ryans privates... erm I mean saving private ryan... and the last twenty minutes too, some really nasty stuff in that film even if it is hollywood pap... couple that stick in my mind is the jewish guy getting slowly stabbed in the chest and the guy holding on to his sticky bomb for a little too long... flame thrower in the machine gun nest.. etc etc... war aint it great!
  15. I said hello on the bmwcarclubforum.co.uk and they seem pretty friendly.. :D will see how it goes, will of course still be popping back in here cos its good fun! wait till you see my leather steve, its pretty cool (well I think it is) red and cream, kind of an odd combination but seems to work! cant bloody wait to pick the damn thing up!
  16. lol hadn't even got as far as thinking about modding it! :D will certainly consider it though! Its not an evo, and to be honest I dont even know the difference! :) I honestly went along to kick some tyres and I ended up buying it! its the 3.0 lump with the 5 speed box, which to be honest I preffered to the 6 speed one, dunno why just seemed nicer. The convertible I tried was dreadful, couldnt believe how "floppy" the whole car felt!! Im sure once I pick it up I will have squillions of questions, dont have a bloody clue about the damn thing at the moment! :D
  17. hello mate, is there an M3 owners club a bit like this place anywhere on the interweb? did a google and came up with nowt :( thought you might be a member there..... cheers Dave
  18. nope, still got the zed for the moment, anybody want to buy it? :D
  19. Christ what am I like, went out to do a bit of tyre kicking and ended up putting a deposit on a new car!!!! :headvswal decided I cant buy the 911 I want for another 12 months so I got a nice little run around for the meantime... '95 4door (family man) M3 :D not quite as quick as the zed but not too shabby either. bit of a crap pic on the phone but you get the idea,.... the dealer I got it from was amazing, had about 15 M3's to choose from as well as a rather nice F355... I know its got too many doors but can I be in your club steve-o ? :D
  20. I had the pleasure of driving a brand spanking new M3 about 3 months ago, its was the 6 speed manual though. Have to say I loved it, damn fast, serisouly responsive, handling was absolutely spot on, and I kerbed the very expensive alloy cos im a tw@t ! :) not much help.. sorry
  21. lol, nope still selling unfortunately.. going to save my pennies. think I have decided on a 911, 996 model, going to cost a minimum of 25k for a RHD and I really dont want a left hooker.... could take a few months....
  22. if anybody else is getting crap mileage its well worth checking, you cant see the connection with the throttle cable cover thingie in place! Im dead chuffed I solved a problem all on my own! :D Might start my own zed garage! hahaha :)
  23. whilst fitting smithys fuel line kit toay had the plastic plenum cover thingie off, put all the new lines in, fired her up to check for leaks n stuff and whilst leaning over the engine got splashed in the face with petrol!!! sh1t me thinks.. what have i done wrong! checked all my work and its fine ?!?!?!?! had a quick look around, and right at the front of the plenum , underneath just where the throttle cables are there is a little bit rubber hose one the fuel rail. which was literally SQUIRTING fuel out, onto the engine and into the fan (hence me getting splashed in the face!!) 30 seconds with a long thing screwdriver, (its a bitch of a clip to get to and was loose as fook) and problem solved! how it got that loose I will never know but that MUST have been the cause! not a drop of fuel coming out now, brilliant!!! :D Something to add to your routine maintenance lists maybe? ;)
  24. its got stock injectors and I thought remapping the ecu to take higher boost into consideration would deliver more fuel, especially in higher revs.. maybe im wrong :D
