well, its fun and stuff.... but not a patch on the zed :( not quite as quick, not as much torque, no turbo "kick" to squish you back in your seat, doesnt get the same level of attention, not by a long way... however, handling is ****ING SORTED, does put the zed to shame in that respect. got some serious anchors on it to, stops DAMN quick. funny as ****, just got home after caning it around a bit (arse out action is superb thanks to manual and the afore mentioned handling) and the front drivers side bloody indicator had dropped off!!! gone, nada, sitting at the side of the road somewhere! :shock: phoned the garage and they are going to slap a new one on there for me in the morning... pictures coming up in just a couple of minutes....

Do you have a relative (mum, dad, brother, uncle etc etc) with a garage or drive? I just took out a policy with firebond (classic policy on a 10yr old car?!?!?!) and had lengthy conversations with them about the terms and conditions of the garaged bits and the access to another car stuff.... Garaged, told them the car would be kept garaged at my mums house (in a nice area with no crime) 4-5 nights a week but WOULD be at my house on the street or elsewhere 2-3 nights a week, not a problem, absolutely fine sir.... Access to another car, I drive my mums car from time to time and borrow mates cars occasionally too, not a problem sir thats good enough for us... so there you go, it would appear that the garaged and access to another car is a complete crock.... just tell em its garaged at your grans house. :D the only way I can see this ever being a problem is if I make 4 or 5 claims on consecutive days when the car is outside my house on the street!! not exactly likely...

If the non delivery report that you got back is indeed genuine its probably somebody who has emailed you before or has recieved an email from you who has got the virus, there are a few email borne nasties that will "spoof" the sender address of the email.. dont worry too much about it, and if there are any links in the NDR you have recieved dont click on them! just to be on the safe side.

years ago i asked to see some old brake parts replaced on a car of mine, I made the poor bloke rummage through his wheelie bin to find them! :)

rarely smoke in the motor, only on proper long journeys! :) may have had the odd one or two but always with the window wide open! it did take about 3 months to get rid of the stink of rotten cabbage when I left a bag of shopping in there for about a week by mistake! :D and stop rubbing it in that she's not mine any more you git! ;)

sounds like im sorted then, I faxed them earlier to confirm I wanted to cancel the policy before the cover had started so hopefully I will get the £500 deposit I put down back in full. if they try to keep it Im sure threating complaints to the FSA will put the willies up em (so the speak..) :)

Does anybody know for sure if there is a legal "cooling off" period for insurance policies (like you get with credit cards/loans etc) where you can cancel the agreement within a certain ammount of time without cost? Took out a polocy for £1500 yesterday, but on the recommendation of firebond on here got it down to £1082....

Really pleased you like it mate, I cant bloody sleep cos I miss her, perhaps I will console myself by rolling around in the big pile of reddies sat on my desk at the moment :D sorry about that headlight, it did that the other week at z-tech, couldnt quite work out what it was and forgot all about it. if you trace the connections from the headlights you will find the HID converter thingies and the wires going back to the battery, may be worth checking all the connections to make sure they are good... the kit has only been on there 6 months so im sure its nothing major.

cheers karl will defo give you a bell, Im using something call Hot-Rox by biotest, its a fairly inexpensive thermogenic which i understand is supposed to raise your body temp by a degree or two and promote the loss of fat, all it seems to do is make my legs ache though! :D

possible in theory in an auto I suppose. would have to be pretty heavily modded and need a good run up! :D

Well just waved goodbye to the old girl, :cry: Its odd how you can become so attached to a car, or maybe its just the zed is particularly infectious, Its also strange how much better they look when somebody else is driving off in it!!!! I can definitely say I WILL be getting another one at some point, will give it a year or two though. EDIT and you know what else I miss, the zed key was nice and long and thin, perfect for picking the wax out of your ears with, PMSL erm kay you may want to wash those keys! ;)
