Hi Guys, got some issues with my gearbox, Bought the car with a known problem, Gbox stayed in safety mode. Initially the problem was thought to be the speed sensor, however after swapping it out with a good one, the problem didn't go away. General reading on this site and others, indicated the Box was buggered. So with the help of Vodkashots (what a guy!) the Box was removed, upon first check it seemed okay, however then something happened which led me to beleive the box was really f'd up. Any way, Here's my car... here's my box, but i dont think i should be able to do this!! Any way, does anyone think the box is refurbish-able.. Rich

The device is a small digibox, if that helps, somethings gone wrong with the existing power plug as its dropped to only 8v

Hi Guys, i've got a power supply (one of those black plugs with a lead plugs into the mains) that has an output of 12v (which i need) and a current of 1.25A (which i dont need) the device i'm powering requires 0.4 A. The devices last power supply actually outputted 0.8A, Could a hike to 1.25 be toooo much and if so, how do i get the 1.25A down to 0.4, me thinks i need something in the +ve wire, like a resistor?. Been far to long since i did electronics as a BAe apprentice... Any one help? Thanks R

Guys, You crack me up... but seriously,.. I am the one with the Blue Badge, I Applied saying i have trouble walking, which i do , and told my Doc, whilst he was increasing my pain relief, that he may get a letter asking for his opinion whether i should get one. He said no problem.. The reason i asked is i wasn't sure whether having a badge IS an indication that the owner is a Disabled person. Looks like it is. Rich

Thanks guys, Phone wasn't insured and not covered on home policy, i mean, who's going to loose a phone... I rang T-mobile, they blocked the card and disabled the phone so it is a Vodka says, just an Ipod, I've not heard of a hack involving i-tunes to get it working again. Cant ring it now 'cos its disabled. Rang the police to report it and to ask if they can triangulate a position, i mean CSI can do it, Anyway a new I-Phone..£499. :censored:

Apart from the usual Trials and Tribulations with my drugs regime inc Morphine (DAM thats good stuff...) I went to Tesco and when i got back in the car My Phone must have slipped out of my trouser pocket, :censored: Off i go but i had only gone 100yds when i realised no phone. Turned back and got back to my spot less than 2 minutes after i left. Well you can guess what i found...yep nothing. F**k @ll. went to the Desk at Tesco, reported it there, Came home not in the best of moods. Rang police and reported it with them. Sat down completely demoralised..Oh yeah, didn't say, it was a 16gb Iphone 4 on a 24 month contract (only 9 months in) The phone was in the wallet with my debit/credit cards, and some dosh.,:sad: :sad: :cry:

Just out of interest, has anybody actually BOUGHT this kit off eBay, I traced them back and they dont appear to be Chinese copies, but Romanian ones. Maybe Romanian's make a different kind of cr@p copy....

just a quickie. again.. just forward of the actual diff casting, is a u shaped bracket around the prop, is this the place of should i use the ACTUAL diff casting. Cheers rich

Quickie Can i jack the rear of the car up at the central location just behind the diff, its got fins and a square plug, thinking of putting the trolley jack right under this plug Rich
