More pics, spray gun with attached regulator gauge. As you can see the Gun clearly states HVLP and max 20psi. I got the Guns from USA , Viper. pretty good. Rich

Ken, Vijay Hi, I have an adjustable pressure gauge on the gun, which i can set to limit the psi going in, brings me back to my first question. My system has a water separator, which also has a gauge which is where i isolate the gun side. Here's some pics 1st is my humble work area next is my compressor and entrance to spray area. next is my in line water separator. follow the air line round to the end where i have a 5m flexible pipe for attachment to spray guns etc. More pics on next post Regards Rich

Hi guys, Need a bit of advice, i've got a HVLP spray gun and if you know how they work, you'll know that it requires about 10-12psi at the nozzle, from about 25psi coming in to the gun. Now my question is, is the 25psi at spray gun rest or when the trigger is pulled. Rich

First time it happened was the night of the day we got delivery, didn't want to put a claim into our insurers on Day1 , as for this time, we'll see., still, it has to have manufacturers parts, 3 week wait from Germany (VW) so thats 3 weeks no rental, we suffer what ever way. Came into work this morning (1 part of a 4 unit long barn) , run a Van Hire Business, only to find the units have been turned over, Thought i was lucky when i went into mine and found the alarm still active..then to discover the oiks have taken the Cat Exhausts of my 2 Rental Vans, (cost me 2K when it was done 6 months ago) is it a coincidence there is a travellers site 1/2 mile down the lane.. They keep protesting innocence and want a second chance, doesn't help when this happens. Rich ps apologises to any members who are or who are related to Travellers.

Went to Tesco to buy replacement ink cartridges for a Canon MP270, Found them and they cost £16.97 ea so £34 quid. Went further down the aisle and there was my printer being sold for £29.00!!, with it came the very same 2 cartridges i came to buy. Whatever next!! Rich

Steve, I know its solved, but i spent a whole day trying to find out the location of the exact same sound, only for my daughter to stick her head around the door jamb and point to the same place and ask "whats that sound" Grrrrr... so when i saw this post i did :rofl:

Hi, i appear to be losing posts, i placed one yesterday am in the for sale section - which was missing when i got home, so i placed another post saying my post dissapeered (cant spell), which was gone this morning. I hope this post last long enough for somebody to read it. My subs run out in july 2011 (first thing i checked) Rich Just checked, its not showing in "my topics" section... Just a thought, is the for sale section ONLY for items relating to Zed's. It could explain why my post went missing, it was for a Sony PSP. I would go for the Green Jag colour, but have you not thought about some custom colour, nothing crazy with 12 coats etc, but a candy finish, maybe a marble effect, i see you are in the trade and have painted numerous cars over the last 6 years (the capri is my fav car, had a 2,8i once..) so something like the colours here http://www.outrageousfinishes.co.uk/ should be possible, Plus turn up at a Zed meet and you'll get serious respect Rich ps my favourite is this one

That is indeed correct, its all part of various EU Directives aimed at cleaning up what goes down the drain..

Ken I agree 2K paint is Dam good sh$t, carcinogenic, but good nevertheless. However, the kit you need to use it is vast, its all very well using a full air mask for yourself, but what about the over-spray, it needs to be extracted somehow, and not to the outside otherwise your neighbours will be dropping like flies. You have a duty to ensure your safety as well as everybody's else's. With Celly you dont need much safety, a carbon mask will do.. plus a lot of work to get a good finish. I dont know if you spray for a living so have all the facilities for 2K (i'm sure you know water based paints are to becoming the norm) but us part time sprayers probably cant financially justify going down the 2K route or the water based one, and if people use it without protection, then they're doing themselves no end of harm, harm that doesn't show up until years later. Celly paint is still around even though they shouldn't sell it, so thats what i use. Great vids by the way, shows technique which is hard to describe. Rich
