  1. Oh yeah, where does znut say that?
  2. Cheers Ian, they definitely have side speakers, I'm sure i have the remotes somewhere and also wall brackets. Thanks Rich
  3. Znut..I know that, but where does the TQ go..
  4. Yowser, yeah, i know, i think we paid about £12,500...twice, one for each main conference room. we replaced them a couple of years ago because we needed Hi-res TV's for video conferences, only cost over a grand each...crazy.. There was nothing wrong with them. Rich
  5. Interesting, after digging out some pics, one of them is a Pioneer PDP502-MXE with side speakers, (a bit out, theyre 50") i'm not sure it is a TV but seems to take a video signal, i'll get some pics together and think about whats been said. i'll give you a ring later sayers but i am after cash (sorry slapper..) Rich
  6. Hi Guys, i've got a couple of large (42 +) size plasma screens, they are monitors not TV's so act as a PC screen which is what we used them for in our conference rooms some years ago. They are a about 10 years old, but when we used them they seemed okay. So i'm trying to gauge what interest there might be, don't want to pay a fortune to ebay for them not to sell..Any advice would be accepted. Rich
  7. Well from your list of requirements and my personal experience a few years ago .... try Bournmouth. Rich
  8. Hi guys, i'm going to try and install a Autobox this weekend , so i'd like to take a quick straw poll on which method everyone has used. Do you put the TQ on the box or install it first on the engine. I do remember when we took the box off, the TQ was left on the engine which i took off afterwards. Dont know if that makes a difference, JeffTT did advise putting it on the box for alignment reasons, which i can understand, but then what about securing the TQ, it was hard enough without the bell housing in place. Hope you can help Rich
  9. HI, i just thought less weight on the box to lift up the better..but if i can figure a way out it probably seems the best idea thanks Jeff. Rich
  10. Hi Guys, im fitting the TC to the engine part, so do i need to add oil to it before hand? and if so, what type, how much etc.. Thanks Rich
  11. Sparx.. he's right on the button though..you interested? pm me Rich
  12. Hi guys, my knowledge is a bit rusty/vague... can someone tell me what these are specifically as i want to sell them, i think they are front water pipes from an N/A (They're not chrome plated but have a sort of chrome powder coat, its very nice and really smooth) Rich
  13. Hi, drove through accident at junction whaddon/bassingbourn barracks in herts/cambs A1198. Silver ZX300 with rear end damage, if it was you, hope you are ok. Car looked badly damaged, sorry. Rich
  14. Rang the DVLA and they said it was probably the V5 was not up to date hence showing a wrong number and MOT error. Before you ask ,yes, it was the new version.. Rich
  15. Cheers, i'll be giving them a call, but when i went to tax it it came back with passes for insurance and MOT, told you something screwy was going on... Rich
  16. to late...pm sent, but how does that effect it?
  17. Hi guys, been having problems verifying my mot status with the gov website checker, here http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/interne...us-Request.jsp as a test to see if its a BIG problem, or just one with my local garages MOT PC, can some of you do a check on your mot on the mot checker page , just the car reg and the V5 doc ref numbers, not the mot ref. let me know if any of you get an error or whether it comes back okay. BIG thanks. Rich
  18. Hi Guys, well just to tell you i hadn't got it wrong, (tut, tut) i DID have an MOT, i went to the garage who i thought did it (see, even I was questioning my own sanity..) and after he entered the details of the reg and doc no on the V5, it came back with an error, he ALSO said i did not have one. I persisted and got him to enter details of the past mot which came up saying a later on existed.. this confused him, so he put just the car reg details in, he said as it was on the VOSA PC he didn't need to put in doc numbers, well it came back with an error again but with a print button for the later MOT, he pressed it and hey presto out popped the current MOT... proof, i'm not going crazy, well not any more than i already am.... I then came home and entered details of my X5 which i had the MOT for in my possession. guess what...error "NO MOT". Strange... So either there is a problem with VOSA or with my garages setup...as a test, can some of you test the gov website mot check page, its here http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECSID-Internet-Status-Request.jsp put in the reg and the doc ref from the V5. Let me know either way what results you get. Thanks Rich
  19. Hi Guys, got a problem, i went to the gov website to check the MOT status of one of my cars, i put in the reg and code from the V5 (Cant find MOT) well the reply came back as Error: We are unable to process your request because the vehicle you searched for has no test that can be reported. "well you aint got an MOT" i here you all shout. BUT i am POSITIVE i went last sept and got one, the tax was obtained in Dec 2012, and when i try to obtain a tax disc, the check it makes for Ins and MOT comes back clear. Any suggestions?, i am going down to the garage to see if i can get a copy tomorrow but just wondered tonight if any explanations can be found. Cheers Rich
  20. Can someone confirm that these are the front water pipes and the balance bar , are they N/A or TT and what are they worth? Rich
  21. Hi guys, i'm trying to get hold of the above guy, any help much appreciated, or email to bofhware@hotmail.co.uk Cheers Rich
  22. Nick Hi, you showed an interest in a front bumper with lights a while ago get in touch with me (bofhware@hotmail.co.uk) if your still interested. Rich
  23. Guys , thanks for your kind words..did some searching on YouTube, my god!!Rats are everywhere!! one guy in the states (Louisiana) gets $5 per tail...and he goes out in his airboat and gets about 6000 a month.. the Govt even pay for his petrol.. CB..I want that Cat!!! the rat he's,,,er holding...is the same one as mine... Lifted up the decking by the Run i found. Put down a sweet concoction.. Decking back, block up the run. lets see what happens. I'll be going round the deck blocking up all holes etc, 'cos at the other end i found another rat hole... that ones next... Had an idea, what if i get an infra red video cam, and scan the decking for their warm bodies.. pull up some strips and exterminate... Happy Hunting Rich
  24. Its not what you think... There was i standing, looking out of the patio window, still daylight, when all of a sudden, not 6 feet from me, i see the biggest f**king RAT!! not walking, running or scampering, but STROLLING across my decking.. I was so shocked by the time i got my iphone out (not to throw at it) but to take a picture, the little sod had wriggled out the end and disappeared under the Decking. From the title, this was the first time i'd seen one of these little b@stards in the wild. After looking where he went i found what looked like a rabbit run..it was THAT Big, and he's living under MY Decking. So. tomorrow, up comes some decking strips and down goes the Rat Poison...Be warned, experts say that no matter where you are, you are no further than 6 feet away from a rat...now i believe him. "Rat catcher" Rich
