Apart from the usual Trials and Tribulations with my drugs regime inc Morphine (DAM thats good stuff...) I went to Tesco and when i got back in the car My Phone must have slipped out of my trouser pocket, :censored: Off i go but i had only gone 100yds when i realised no phone. Turned back and got back to my spot less than 2 minutes after i left.

Well you can guess what i found...yep nothing. F**k @ll. went to the Desk at Tesco, reported it there, Came home not in the best of moods. Rang police and reported it with them.

Sat down completely demoralised..Oh yeah, didn't say, it was a 16gb Iphone 4 on a 24 month contract (only 9 months in) The phone was in the wallet with my debit/credit cards, and some dosh.,

if its contract, you will be better off reporting it so it gets imi blocked, its then just a gloryfied ipod. if its then returned to you, you can ring up and get it unblocked as its your phone.

thats the first steps id be taking. also stops them ringing people as it wont connect to any network. not sure about iphone blocking, but as its linked to your Itunes, they might even be able to brick it using itunes. i know they can unlock your phone to any network by using itunes.

Thanks guys,

Phone wasn't insured and not covered on home policy, i mean, who's going to loose a phone...

I rang T-mobile, they blocked the card and disabled the phone so it is a Vodka says, just an Ipod, I've not heard of a hack involving i-tunes to get it working again.

Cant ring it now 'cos its disabled. Rang the police to report it and to ask if they can triangulate a position, i mean CSI can do it, Anyway a new I-Phone..£499. :censored:

Not a hack, if your net work carrier is orange for instance, and you want your iPhone unlocked to vodaphone or any of the other major networks, you ring them up, pay a fee (£20) and then you plug it into iTunes and it does the rest, a thief won't be able to unblock your phone by changing the IME number, as you can't do it on the iPhone at the present moment

Nah cards can be turned off and replaced free of charge, the iPhone would be far more difficult and expensive to replace, plus as mentioned, someone now has his contacts, his music, his photos and a new iPod. Sorry to hear this mate, my best mate just had his blackberry nicked the other week, although he was considerably happier about it than you, as it gave him an excuse to replace it with a GOOD phone :D

Did you not set up "Find My Phone"? Its free and built into the iPhone 4. Just have to register. Allows you to track and remotely disable the phone. Worth doing if anyone else has one.

Cheers guys, thanks for your kind words..and to top it off, went out today to get something out of my Merc, and some **insert here your usual name for a C**T** has yanked off the 3 pointed star off the bonnet ...what else can go wrong now...

I hate when this happens. I lost my walet once with arount 500 in cash plus all my debit/credit cards, driving licence.....everything.. I`ve noticed that I don`t have my walet at home after 4-5 hours since I lost it.....I went back to the place where I thought my walet fell from my car`s door pocket and guess what...after spending around two minutes looking around in dark and rain, from the second floor of a bulding , a man is shouting if I lost something.... And he returned my walet....What a nice man. He only took £20 I have offered for beers. It was an english man.
