  1. Is it definitely the box making the noise? Goes away in neutral? If you dont want to use it for the boxhill-brighton run I could probably pick you up on route.
  2. Ah you've got to be kidding, so it was fine home for fitting it, and to the show, but went wrong on the return trip? Its grinding but still going through the gears ok though? Don't know what to say, shouldnt have cooked new fluid that quick,
  3. Vin starts jn1.., uk Anything else cz, gz or just z etc import, UK chassis numbers are much longer....
  4. Are they different years? It's multiple choice, but Mine are the same year so only 1 vote lol...
  5. Only let me vote once, but 2x 1995 slicktop, ( one tt, one na, both manual)
  6. Right having a small clear out to raise the money to fix the new problems with my zed.... 99 spec bumper, Brand new still in box and plastic, can't see me fitting it any time soon so it's just in the way, £400 Couple of spoilers in need of repairs (skyline gt spoiler and mid level z spoiler)offers? Pair of good condition headlights (one does have some dirt inside would be ideal for modifications to 99 spec) offers? Used std cams from '95 twin turbo manual (different from early cars not interchangeable) offers Drivers front outer sill ( purchased in error) brand new offers? Various lights Rear strut brace ( do have the rest just need to work out which box they are in) Headlight eyebrows( found in my first zed) free to funkysi... Have 2 used 3" exhaust valves both working although will need some wiring, (removed as race cars shouldn't be quite) Could sell the swb diffuser, swb skirts and the front/rear swb spats but would have to be the right offer.
  7. Not much I could do on my zed till I'm back at work to order some pipes to repair my power steering... Although did have the joy of repairing the wiring to my alarm siren and then relocating it to a less accessible place, after some @#?! tried to disable the alarm last night, luckily it's a cat 1 alarm so as soon as they tampered with the wires it went mental,
  8. Winter 2017 is ideal for me, so the family estates take 2 weeks what about the sports zeds? I wouldn't care when it started after September, as long as it was done before April, gives me plenty of time to get the funds too, Might take me a couple of months to get any significant deposit together, just spent loads on the repairs still need to pay for mapping and a good clutch yet...
  9. Yeah I'll come along, Depending on which car park in Rottingdean any really low zeds might have to be careful,
  10. Good with me, if all goes to plan the silver zed will be coming
  11. Saw that at incarnation and a couple of other meets/events, seems like a good bloke if he still owns it, certainly spent alot of time and money, not my choice of modifications though... This is why we need a club stand at incarnation, show people there's more to the 300zx...
  12. Checked the valve stem seals were seated correctly as it was out, new turbos and lines, ams manifolds, ams 3" elbows, bit of paint lol, fixed the oil leaks I hope, got new rad to go on, and all the big pipework and intercoolers, and 450lph fuel pump Not fitted the 740 injectors yet as I want to test everything for leaks etc, and it won't run once there on
  13. put my engine back in... It's paired with my box but not on the mount properly ( would helping one wasn't broken) lol.
  14. Has anyone got a passenger side engine mount? Mines disintegrated, Thought i had a spare but apparently not, budgets a bit tight or id get some uprated ones
  15. Yeah side to side play a small amount, but in out a mm or 2 is bad.
  16. Luckily the new turbos come with all new lines/ drains water hoses, but it is definitely concerning. The other side has play but is not damaged at all.
  17. What a shame no choice but to fit the gt675's hehe Would like to know what did it, it's on brand new 2.5" pipework and ba intercoolers and new z1 pop chargers, so there should have been no contamination in the intake, maybe it's from the shaft snapping, although I remember hearing a strange noise seconds before the issue started... There's nothing there now, will flush everything with brake cleaner before its refitted just to be safe.
  18. Started my time of off... Already answered as to my issue... Any see the problem here?...
  19. I've a brand new set in my garage but there's no spec sheet with them unfortunately..
  20. 17th is good for me too, may even have the silver one on the street in time.
  21. I can't 100% commit at the mo, the shear amount of work I've planned for my time off may not be able to lose a day,
  22. I'm in the same boat. Will be leaving my injectors out to prime/test the engine at idle once my new turbos are on, As for mapping I keep being recommended Greg at protuner,
  23. Did some mocking up on one of my spare motors, it's tight but looks like everything will fit. Just one week of work to stumble through then got my time off to pull the actual motor.
  24. I still intend to join in, although my old club is having a meet in the area so depending on time may leave early to join them
