  1. Tbh i cut the blocks off, and used a bullet connector, (and lot of heat shrink wrap, Can you hear the starter solenoid engaging? I couldn't.
  2. Check the starter , and the wires to it, had the block connector break on mine, exactly the same symptoms Again thought it was my immobiliser, but turned out just broken connection
  3. News just in... " car club banned from Coventry for public indecency"
  4. I don't mind helping, probably regret it if it rains... I promise I won't only allow zeds I like in...
  5. Just for the record we don't have room to store it, If you can get it home can possibly get someone to collect it once you've sourced a box...
  6. I hope that's not the case, I know when I was up I said to use dexron iii fluid, (same as power steering fluid) and It was definitely the autobox dip stick saw you check it. I'd imagine it's more that it may have been topped up but probably so low it needed to circulate and fill the whole system so probably still a bit low, from what I saw the box was a bit hesitatent almost slipping when you were moving it on the drive had hoped it was just low fluid.
  7. I'm at Coventry Friday night, so will be around Saturday morning if you need help. Wonder if it's worth draining and refilling.
  8. It's more then I'd be prepared to do on the floor, but if you got it to my work one Saturday I could probably get a mechanic to swap it over, we did mine in a morning back when I had autos, already asked one said he'd do it for £80 I did think it was a bit violent moving off,
  9. I don't want to see any segregation, I don't mind parking along side the family estate models...
  10. Don't let it get you down my daily is a £300 ford mondeo, does 700+ miles on £50, as much as I love my zeds, for spares runs and work, there's no need to waste the fuel... Plus I don't have to worry about where I left it, (unfortunately it is a diseasel)
  11. Have to say very disappointed.... Was looking on the transport museums website, no mention of the 300zx's coming down next weekend, they mention the abbarth owners club but not us... Maybe those of us there on Saturday should have a convoy round with megaphones in a top gear style publicity stunt....
  12. Got my seat frames today, nowhere near the right size, but was a gamble, and they'll make life easier for the fabricator, Rerouted the wires for the dual wideband to s more neat and permanent location, removed my electronic exhaust valves, we're only there for late night returns and track use, but I've better bungs now so their redundant. Supposed to be doing jobs on the blue one ahead of next weekend but that'll have to wait till tomorrow.
  13. Tbh I could probably bring it to you in my daily once it's off if you want, your not that far from me.
  14. I am coming to Beaulieu, not sure it will fit in my zed (swb), and it only went to the powedercoater last week so depends on how long before its back and I get chance to swap them out,
  15. I'll have a subframe soon, got a spare with my new na, sent it to be powder coated, once it's back going to swap it over then the old ones up for grabs, no Diff or anything else but it's free if you want to collect it.
  16. Well looking at its location I think the south East lot should use it as an excuse to meet up, I'm game.
  17. Choose some.... Went for 3 inch takata 4 point harnesses, Worked out the modifications to the roll cage to get it to fit in the correct location, hopefully my seat brackets turn up tomorrow and I'm all set forth fabricator Monday....
  18. It's true about the European distributor as I've the last one lol.
  19. wait...! That isn't polished?... Why does your wheel look gold in the last picture?
  20. Series 4 zeds did, both of my '95 zeds are factory s2 ptu,
  21. No advisorys good news, no excuses it better be at Coventry now hehe...
  22. It's a 1990, in the picture it's got a factory s2 ptu...hmm definitely not that car..
  23. It'll be alright as long as the mapper is aware and I'm not getting too carried away with boost. As Ali said, had our master techs do a proper cylinder leak test on her, all cylinders were 5-7% leak, which they checked twice as they didn't believe it, so my block is alot better then first thought.
  24. Got a couple of weeks off in August to pull the motor, fit the turbos and injectors, As an exercise I've decided to fit them to the stock block, it's having a rebuild next year anyway...
  25. It's a cage I bought off jaffa, was a whole cage, but having it strengthed and modified into a half cage by a local fabricator( builds stock cars) It's 80% a track car, will probably drive it to and from events I ment.
