  1. Is it me or in picture 5 does it look like the uptight has broken, from the bottom off the arm up about to about 3 inches above the bolt
  2. If the rim is made how i think it maybe, then yes its made in 3 pieces, but the front and rear of the rim are joined and welded then sealed the centre is cooled and the rim heated. Then the centre is put into place, rim is then allowed to cool and the centre is then held solid, the bolts are an added strength.
  3. lol welcome mate

Here mate have a look at this for the TT PS pump it is a rebuild link, If you go to the 5th picture down on the left of the picture is the section of the pump that pressures the Hicas system, Picture no.8 shows it clearer. if you take the small metal vanes out of that part of the pump and fit it back together it will no linger try to pressurise the hicas system and the pump will still run as normal. If you wanted to you can link the hicas (in and return) at the pump then remove the solenoid and old lines. end result cleaner engine bay and pump works as a NA one.
  9. First off mate what colour smoke, sounds like it might be the PVC system fingers crossed.
  10. not sure what they look like but if its an insert into the old rubber pipe then try some wd40 or washing up liquid to help get the blanking plate in.
  11. Give them some food then take the pictures lol, also if you fit fans in the lid why not rig a light weight aluminium shield just to stop spray getting to the fan.
  12. Yes he is talking about the prop outlet mate

  19. do you have an extra switch on the ecu somewhere is possible it has 2 different tunes on it one for road use and one for track. just a thought
  20. I would repair it, then i have repaired and made parts for worse jobs than yours mate, Im an engineer and body repairer/mechanic by trade although i no longer do it for a job. I would pull your carpets up and have a good poke around before deciding on what you will do, there are good welders out there that would take on this sort of work. the floor is fixable and so is the sills and inner sills. It all comes down to how you feel about doing it and how competent you are if you decide to do it either way if you do it is a good learning experience for you.
